- In the twelfth episode of Season 3 of the Minecraft Transit Railway Let's Play series, we explore lines using the Muni Metro Siemens S200 LRV!
Minecraft Transit Railway is a Minecraft mod based on Hong Kong's MTR, the London Underground, and the New York Subway. It adds trains, boats, cable cars, and planes to the game along with other miscellaneous blocks and items. With this mod, it is possible to build a fully functional railway system in your world!

Pretty sure the term we use for these Muni Metro trains is “light rail.” Muni Metro has two (technically 3 since the Twin Peaks tunnel and the Market Street Subway were built separately) different subway corridors which are grade separated from street traffic. The rest of the network, with the exception of the T-Third Street line are former streetcar lines (I say former since the historic streetcars used to run these lines but are no longer used on them) and therefore share the road with cars. It’s quite interesting too, considering that the street level stops require low-level boarding, while the subway stations are high-level boarding. Thus, all Muni Metro trains have retractable stairs that are raised and lowered accordingly. Also, for some reason the Siemens S200SF trains you see here have hydraulics, such that the car body slightly raises itself when doors open at high level platforms, and lowers when they close.

hey! is there any way for u to make the elevator doors close after they have been used? like i use the elevator, i get out of it and the doors would close after like 5 seconds or something
Suggestion: why not make more things to see or visit for example a market at Cheung Chau or a tower at Green

Will there ever be a way to have a custom boat? Like a cruise or a steamboat?
And also if I download your mod made for newer version and play it on existing world with that same mod made for older version, will every of my build using the blocks and textures from the mod be gone?
The blocks shouldn't disappear, but make a backup just in case.

Wait? They added the Muni LRV4s? Hope soon they add the LRV2/LRV3s and the BART. Weirdly, there’s no door chime on the LRV4s. The reality has door chimes.
You were thinking about ading more plane models to the game? im building a small city and airbus a320 is to big for airport in it, i would really appreciate if you make model for q400 etc.
we need more planes like Dash 8 or Boeing 737-800, they should try add Airbus A318(or A319) too or model a small wide-body aircraft like 767 or 787-8

To get more trains, including the MUNI, check the #extra-content channel in the Discord server (link in the description). Install it like a normal Minecraft resource pack.

The Muni street car model looks and sounds just like the real one! Though the only inaccuracy is how fast it's going LOL. In SF, we have a subway system (BART), but it only goes straight through one side of the city and is mostly used to either go downtown or get to the surrounding cities. Otherwise we have a pretty good bus system (also Muni).
They've been trying to build a "bullet train" from SF to LA for years, but it's more of a joke now and no one believes it'll ever be done.
The Muni Metro isn't actually a "streetcar". It's a light rails system in transition to a full light metro. In the denser areas the Muni Metro runs in subways and only surfaces in the less dense outer neighborhoods. The new lines are mostly grade separated or have heavy traffic priority. They are gradually upgrading it to a light metro so over time it's becoming more an more like a traditional subway/metro system.

No actually the mean Metro doesn't have a third car in the middle it's only 2 car sets that are able to make 4 cars

If I was a builder I would be responsible for stations not world edit stuff because I don’t really know how to use it I’m better at doing stuff entirely by hand
