Good thing about the Santander 123 account is I get about £9 a month cashback on direct debits and shopping, which more than covers the fee, plus around £22 a month using the Santander Edge Saver.
Lloyds Regular Saver - Up to £400 per month Earn 6.25% AER/gross fixed interest. paid after 12 months. You can withdraw your money when you like without charge.
Hi Andy, at around the time 3:10 into the video, you mentioned taking the interest money out of the Santander reg saver and transferring it into another account to earn more interest elsewhere.. do you mean to do this every month when the interest is paid or did you mean at the end of the full year?
Hi Andy, at 1:50 you say one way of avoiding the £3pm fee, is to never set up a direct debit from the account. What if you have done an auto switch from another bank (to get the £150 sign up incentive), which requires you to transfer over 2 direct debits? Can you cancel those direct debits as soon as you've received the £150, and still have access to the 6% saving account?
Barclays dropping rate to 4.87% in February .

Yeah it’s a great option (and there are some 7% regular savers out there) but you’re limited to monthly deposits
@@BeCleverWithYourCashdon’t you also have to pay to have the Lloyd’s account? I shut mine down after using the cinema tickets
There's a 5.25% regular saver for standard Lloyds account users where you pay in £250 a month.
Can you please do a video on the Yonder Credit card? They seem to offer good rewards but I am not sure what’s the catch.
I got an edge saver and the interest rate dropped from 6% to 1.20 % even with 4k in the account ? what did I do wrong ?

Sadly I think that’s unlikely
My Santander Edge is still at 7%
Lucky you.
Mine too, though that’s just the first year, and for newbies it’s 6%
