When the seer owled blink, it's actually really common in asian seers and they usually are able to predict it. They just need to look behind and the second the hunter swings while there's still some distance, they'll use owl. I've watched so many videos and tutorials and still can't get the timing right lmao

Apparently, it’s an alternate Kanji for “Sakura”. So his name basically is Sakura Mochi Hana

The story the third essence is based on is Bluebeard!! It's a pretty gruesome tale lol it used to scare me as a kid, but maybe that's why I liked it so much. I was very happy to see the skins were inspired on it!! They all look amazing

I think Sangria's skin absolutely slays (tho the effect on her red sleeve is a bit goofy haha)!! It makes me wanna play her even though I always get demolished haha I think the skin is fine, it might make her normal walking form more visible, but the shadow form and remnants are still quite dark with red accents, so I don't think it will impact her too heavily. But who knows!! Very bright skins definitely help seeing people from afar for sure. I can't help but feel that the Perfumer S, while very pretty, just isn't that standout compared to the A tiers. A-tiers have just gotten too good... *Match 1 (Sangria)* - (not me going on a balance tangent again A) Abnormal is comically useless in the grand scheme of things. If you bring it early you have to down someone before a 3 cipher kite, and then leave your target to go abnormal a cipher (sometimes do-able for mobility hunters but still, counterable by not kiting to ciphers). And if you swap to it, congrats, you gave up having anything useful endgame (post-pop). It can help secure ties SOMETIMES if the cipher happens to be near your dead-on-chair chase, but that's pretty much it. Accelerated decoding enables survivors to somewhat quickly recover lost progress - at least quicker than it takes to get back on a target and eliminate them, in most cases. And survivors can also just work on a different cipher and/or far away cipher. I would love an Abnormal rework but idk how that can be done without completely spiraling games that are already in the hunter's favor. I would love for it to do SOMETHING with exit gates as well, and maybe not require you to be at a cipher (for being useful for non-mobile hunters too) - but I'm not sure how to not make that completely OP. I was thinking maybe something in the direction of Kreiburg Central Cipher? But then that would not help at all with late game delaying the final cipher since someone would most likely be on it. It would help with delaying the first 3 ciphers maybe, but then that affects low-tiers dis-proportionally because they are not efficient about ciphers / don't ping / don't pay attention to started ciphers - and low-tiers already tend to suffer because of their lower experience. So idk if that would be super fair. But something like your proposed Listen buff where using it slows down / regresses ciphers would definitely be cool, no matter if on Listen or Abnormal. Or maybe they could just,,,, do sth about ciphers/non-existent endgame :) but that would be too big a rework. sighs...

I felt that wildling could pass as the s tier for this essence when the skins first got announced but the essence background trailer has only strengthened those feelings for me. slap some particle effects and netease would've been charging $250 (it is a good day to be a murro fan)
