I've been into rc since I bought my original Tamiya Blackfoot back in '87 (yes, I'm old! Lol) I worked in my local Hobbytown USA here in Wichita off and on for many years, then kinda fell out of the hobby. You two are making me want to go down into my basement and dig out my old trucks. You guys are winning me over. I thought y'all were just too nice and then all the negative stuff over the pond with other youtubers happened and I gotta say your cheesy niceness has become refreshing and reminds me not to take things so serious, even when racing. Made my first A-main Saturday and about 3 laps in I broke a servo arm and just laughed it off and was grateful I was able to have such a fun day with my son and other folks in the hobby. The camaraderie is the most attractive thing about this Hobby. It's a shame when people get all in their feelings in front of the entire world and turn people off from the hobby. Keep up the good work and stay gradingly cheesy and nice 😂. 👍

This is one of the reasons I love this channel, you show that you can have fun on a budget and not every fun rig has to be a big name. It's perfectly possible to get a budget friendly rig and upgrade as you go along and have a blast the whole time.

I bought this truck a couple of months ago and have to agree it is fantastic value, I intend to do some upgrades soon. Great video guys as they all are, keep them coming.
Great little car and nice video, completely agree on having fun and enjoying the hobby, it’s a shame it went public and ended the way it did. It should blow over soon enough and we will carry on with the joy this hobby brings us! 🤙 look forward to future videos!

@@christiansrcs7789 it may not be the best controller but if it works they can still enjoy the truck while saving a little more for upgrades.
Keep looking mate, I wouldn’t get this if your looking a ‘good’ crawler.. if you want a ok performing crawler with ok quality but looks nice this will do, but if you want a far better quality and better performance look at the ftx outback range they are still cheap but also proper hobby grade, unlike MN models..

Yeah it says 1:12 on the box, but I'd call it more if a 1:14 scale. Abby says 1:18, but I do think it is almost spot on to 1:14 👍 We actually talk about that in this video 😉😁⚓

Has anyone from Canada ever dealt with bangood before. I am wondering how they are to deal with? I realize that ordering takes a while. Wondering what the best upgrades would be to order with and save time. Metal drive shafts? I wonder if ring and pinion is metal or plastic?

@@andresarias1612 The WPL C44km is the best model that WPL currently make,if you want a good trail truck. You will need to add your own electronics to this kit though.

That looks cool, I love the lights. On a side note, I don't understand why anyone would regularly visit a channel just be negative. If you don't like the content, ignore the channel and stop posting. As for myself, you provide a valued service that the majority of us appreciate and truly enjoy watching the two of you enjoying a hobby together.
This is far better (and more fun) than the real one I bought which was the last one available in Canada in 1974. Emission regs put an end to the 88 inch wheelbase model. The beast was so heavy that it was useless in deep snow and the vacation sands of Cape Cod. All it wanted to do was to dig itself to China.
I am looking for the Scrapheap Challenge episode where they had to build an amphibian and seriously underestimated the amount of flotation needed. I guess that is why they had an duralumin body.
My 99s and 3 Lipo arrived in the UK on Saturday for US $74 equivalent including shipping, VAT. I bought the full cab version last month and both are amazing. Great video!

LOL. I turned the playback speed to .5 because I was curious what some rc vehicles look like with the speed down, mostly because of the slow-mo shots, and they actually look like they're full sized cars at .5 without the slow-mo, but then I started paying attention to Nate's voice while it was playing and omfg, Lmao. He sounds like he's really drunk but still so invested in RCs that he just can't help but talk about RCs even being hammered 🤣 I tend to do the same thing though with things I'm interested in so I don't see it as a bad thing, just hilarious and interesting 👍

I think (and sincerely hope) you'll really enjoy this RC! The batteries alone are worth probably $15 minimum, so the level of detail here that you get for the price is amazing. A well rounded, very casual ground vehicle. Be prepared for slow shipping, but otherwise a great experience! Please let us know your thoughts after a couple runs!

Great lil play truck for messing around, i was almost gonna buy one, then realized i bought 2 the past 2 weeks and the gf would kill me! Also thanks for the reply on FB, love the channel, the reviews and everything, very informative to someone whose been away for a long time! Not a great comparison because of the size difference, but the scx24 is a great lil crawler. These are more for kinda just doing a lil trail driving.
Hey Saylors, whats the best beginner friendly rc plane: Carbon Cub S2, Timber X, Cherokee, or umx turbo timber?
Check out the Volantex Super Cub 500, or any of the Eachine warbirds (p51 mustang, t28 Trojan or f4u Corsair). I was a a beginner rc plane person 6 months ago. I own all 4 and all 4 are great. Also have the XK a100 which is OK and the z51 predator which I don’t recommend although I was able to repurpose the z51 FCB and covert an eagle and fish glider into an rc plane.

They aren't bad at all. Upgrade parts can be found everywhere for these and some are 3d printable. Great budget way to try trail driving and getting into modding and tinkering. Great one as always Saylors!
I bought the Jeep version and added minions as the passengers and driver. I did have to glue the tires.

Thank you Abby for adjusting the bumper, that bugged me. And I agree with the battery placement, that just seems a logical spot to put the engine/power source. That's neat that there's a bed that just doesn't drop down 1/8 of an inch.

i love the body so much and chassis seems decent but my esc smoked as soon as i plugged the battery in :( seemed to happen with switch on or off so not sure what happened

WPL C34KM or C44KM are much better rigs and you get to build them....... Kit and electronics can be had for about $125.
Nothing wrong with the MN models, but I like to build and I am addicted to the WPL's. They are much better quality.

You have to try the new mn-86 KS unless you did and I missed it. But in my opinion it's the best model that MN or wpl ever put out. I am so impressed with this model that does 54 degrees right out of box. It is a kit all right have a great day and a great crawl
Just saying this cars cost half the price of a land river shell with no paint or accessories... Ordered mn90 shell to transform a 1/12 basher. 550 motor power and decent chassis with this beautiful scale look. Can't wait to get it from China and start transformation.
I had one of these, did a few upgrades, broke a bunch of stuff. Really all it did was make me want a legit 1/10 scale. Which I guess is not a bad thing. Driveshafts are garbage and so is the gearbox, but I enjoyed the few runs I put on it.
