I've seen those same toy belts at Dollar Tree, but never gave them much thought until now. They really are perfect for customizing! I love crafts and should try modifying one, just for giggles. Almost everything you'd need, you can get at the same store.
May I offer some tips for customizing? These came to me when I thought about your cheap Dollar Tree belts, but they'd work for the replica toy belts as well. - Firstly, if you're gluing two things together, or painting over an area, sand the area rough with a bit of sandpaper. A rough surface helps glue and paint stick better. - Use household or rubber cement, Lepage's 100%, or Gorilla glue or double-sided tape. Gorilla "bubbles up" as it cures, and it might ooze out of a gap and become an ugly blister, so use with care. A hot glue gun at low or medium temperature is probably your best, easiest choice, and it won't smell of chemicals. - Dollar store plastic gemstones and rhinestones are great for decorating and filling in areas. Enamel model paint is glossy and tough-wearing for adding colour to surface details. -There are lots of fine choices for lettering: - Molded plastic letters used for office in/out signs and desk signs give a great "raised" look. Paint them black, silver, or gold so they stand out most clearly. - Peel-off or rub-on letter sheets in various colors and fonts are quick and easy. A layer of cheap, clear nail polish will keep them in place. - Some types of metal stick-on letters, used on front doors and mailboxes, can look okay. They're found at department, hardware, and do-it-yourself stores. - Coins, medallions, pins, small toys, buttons, and other appropriate details can be painted to match and glued onto plain surfaces for visual interest. A big, round campaign pin can be painted like a globe, and a rectangular one like a country's flag. - If you need sheets of plastic for making a logo or side plates, go to a model or hobby shop. They'll have them in several thicknesses. In a pinch, you can substitute sheets of basswood, but they'll need to be sawed to size and they're harder to work with. Plastic is more pliable and forgiving, and can be cut with heavy scissors or shears, trimmed with an Xacto or snap-off knife, edges sanded smooth, and layered with details mentioned above. (If you cut with a craft knife, go slow, press moderately gently, and go over the same cut several times until it snaps apart. It will save you from mistakes...and your hands from being maimed.) - If you want a more realistic strap, measure and cut one out of black "leatherette"/vinyl from a fabric store, or use an old windbreaker jacket, backpack, or gym bag. As a last resort, strip the covers from about four black 3-ring binders and glue them in layers for strength. Glue on the plate(s) and two rows of dollar store silver/gold plastic decorative studs to resemble snaps. If you want to wear it, add a row of snap clothes fasteners or Velcro strips where the ends meet. That's probably more than enough to start you off. Oh, it's always smart to make a thumbnail drawing or scribble of the finished belt so nothing is forgotten. And Google Image Search for "wrestling championship belts" is a tremendous source of inspiration and help with designs. Best of luck!
Man, thats exactly what i did when i bought my dollar Store belt, i alsow put in some WWE pins as side plantes. Is good to know there are still toy belt collectors.
Toy belts all the way man, I cant afford $300 replicas and even if I start collecting replicas, I'll just by 2 or 3 replicas but because toy belts are cheap, I can buy like 5 of them. Currently I have 30 - 33 toy belts, not exactly sure
I don't know if you're still looking for belts but I got nxt, cruiserweight, the big gold world championship, and maybe the hardcore belt. I'd have to look
Allen Cardenas tbh idk, but there has to be a major difference because commemorative belts are $200 and the Jakks pacific is $100 as you mentioned. maybe the commemorative is a bit more detailed..idk
Jakks Pacific never produced an official 'Rated R' version of the WWE belt, as it was not sold in stores and wasn't listed on the packaging of their products. Instead, fans created their own custom 'Rated R Superstar' logos by modifying the WWE logo, which has led to the misconception that an official 'Rated R' belt existed.
not to sound mean...but those are plastic belts, meaning those aren't leather...its fake leather that feels like leather. That WWF Attitude Era belt I bought when it came out for $12.99. Most of these are on Ebay between $5 - $25.
I'd get the replicas but the problem is that I spend a lot of money on other things. I have a hat collection worth $600+, I spend money on sneakers, baseball jerseys and I go out with friends Friday - Sunday every week and end up spending $300. I'll have to sacrifice one of those things to get replica belts :P
Neekab Wrestling I understand. I didn't want to come off as mean, I understand a collection isn't always about money value. I would suggest you try to get into collecting the mini replica belts, they are $49.99 on WWESHOP. I have a few and I promise you'll be BLOWN AWAY by them =) they are gorgeous. They have 11 currently for sale, enough to keep you busy! They also sell the rings as well which are neat too.
KEVIN NASH WOLFPAC Vieni just take black spray and spraw nWo on the Big Gold Wcw title AKA the belt ric flair stole from Wcw to WWE and it was retired in 2014
I'll get all the new belts once the toy versions are out and NJPW sells shit quality toy belts so I don't wanna get a shit toy belt for $10 and spend $20 on shipping

You're right - giving out addresses and phone numbers in public forums is just asking for trouble.
