Do you think this unit will be profitable? Hale$ Yes or Hale$ No? If you liked this video, then you'll love this video; th-cam.com/video/a2F1-2ErYqA/w-d-xo.html
This is another unit that I enjoy, I have started to comment on all the videos I watch and I have seen this 3 times now. My late Dad had the shoe last his Dad used to repair his families shoes on in the 30's depression and the 2nd world war. He was the father of 7 children and also helped the neighbours out with different types of repairs and the produce from his large vegetable garden. It's a shame the vermin got into the boxes and those once lovely blankets, that is one thing I do not like at all and try hard to keep away from. My children watched the smurfs on tv when they first came out in the UK, I never knew glasses were made of them till I saw the auction unit videos. Lots of lovely stuff in those boxes and I shall enjoy watching all of them. Take care my friends and good luck Mary-Ellen UK
25:30 one tip when dating boxed stuff is bar-codes were not really that widespread until the 80's. Fun fact in 1974 at the Marsh Supermarket in Troy, Ohio had one of the first prototypes for scanning groceries. First item scanned was a pack of Wrigley's gum.
Lots of old albums!! I am 64 and lots I remember but also lots older than my time on earth. The record player was common in furniture pieces in the 60's I know. My parents had one in a cabinet much larger when I was growing up
Great unit I loved shera when I was a kid 😊 I got my first cabbage patch kid when I was 22 in 97 my mother wouldn’t let me have one as a kid as she said it would give me nightmares lol so I got myself one haha
Give the cabbage patch kids a clean up as they are worth big money these days. In the 1,000’s if you have the right one. What an interesting unit, so many surprises. I know this was 7mths ago, but hopefully you got some good money 💴 from the things in there.
God bless you and your family and another great video and great finds great stuff to I’m sorry I’m late with the videos I’m backed up on videos from helping other channels but keep them great videos coming and I send you and your love ones lots of blessings always 👍👍👍👍
Seeing all the LP’s and I know you get a ton. I once had an Elvis LP “Elvis In Concert”. From 1977 (the year he died). His last live album. It is a 2 album set. Look for a printing error. The one I bought had a “Side C” on both sides of the second LP. I sold it for $1100 in 1992. There weren’t a lot made with that error.
Back when I was young my parents bought lps from gas stations. I think they got points of some kind with each full up. My favorite has old songs like "Go tell aunt Rodie " "I got a hammer" "Trailers for sale or rent "
21:43--My mom got a little Red spinning wheel for Christmas when I was a little girl (I remember that box). Holy cow does that bring back memories. Wish I still had it as well.
That cabinet that is a selling display, can be reused for a cabinet kitchen island. Wow, I would buy this typewriter if I had room for it. great buy. loved it. lean on God
Some people pull off the keys off old typewriters to make artwork with them. I've seen people plasma cut art into old saws like that too. That's a cobbler's last for repairing shoes and soles.
The spring kit isn't a display. That is a spring supply kit used at either a hardware store or a factory. The board with the springs on it show the spring is self and it's corresponding location number to find the spring.
What awesome lockers. They so far look extremely intreging and lots of fun with lots of great finds. Great buying have fun with finishing the rest. Of the locker.
Cobbler's last. But that could be a shop fitting for showing long boots or something. Most of the lasts I've seen have three 'feet' for different areas of the shoe/boot. .
23:25 Those are She-Ra Figures, the one on right looks like Peekablue without the tail attachment. The one in the middle may be Castaspella and the one on the left could be the Teela figure. I haven't seen any of these in a long long time.
Jeremy that's cool that you're working with your brother-in-law I just subscribe to his channel and I'll be watching every time you pull some up thank you guys for this video it was a lot of vintage stuff an amazing things there to y'all going to find more things is great when you work or family that was a great idea to get a dumpster Jeremy thank you for the video God bless you and George and George George all the way from Spain send you much love can't wait to see the next video
I sold Six Smurf glasses and I got $50a piece! You have a Virgin Mary in a glass cover and you had DVD AFTERWARDS WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH GEROGE GEROGE! FOR SOME REASON I DIDN'T GET THE TIME THING ,BUT I DO KNOW FIRST UNIT AND MAYBE 10-15MIN INTO THE TAPING!
Over hear on U.K records are coming back cheapest ones I've seen are £20.00 that cobblers thing is a hobbling horn used to put soles on shoes good luck stay safe xXx
Great video! You guys crack me up! Jeremy I got to tell you watching your videos has got me into storage auctions. I’ve won two so far. The first one was a climate controlled unit all that was in the 10X10 unit was this very old great looking upright piano. Well I won the unit for $150, after research with help from Antique piano shop I learned the piano was a Boardman in Grey built in 1867! After restoration I’m told it could sell for upwards of 30k, I plan on restoring and keeping it, very artistic and beautiful piece of our musical history. Just wanted to share that, great video ! Been itching to see what’s in those units going over now to Take the Risk to scratch that itch some more lol ,see ya in next video!
Smurf Glasses 1983 a complete set on Ebay $125 . Those records you are going to find some pricey treasures. The Little Red Spinning Wheel starts at $35 up to a little over $100 depending on the condition plus you have the orginial box on Ebay. BP Service Station Model seen 1 looks new $40 on Amazon. You do have a lot of unique probably almost one of a kind items ... And unfortunately the mice & raccoons have eaten up & peed on etc
Jeremy, George, George-George....dead-bang serious here....if you find an old-skool paper-cutter, the old cleaver-on-a-table kind, I am VERY interested! 35 bucks max.
The cost of the unit, dump fees, travel, etc. have already been met by the value I've seen so far and you haven't even scratched the surface. Sneak this one into the bet with Pirate and he's as good as on a plane to Ohio. I'll even pick him up at the airport for you. :-)
"Mama Look 'A Boo boo" I learned from a recording by Harry Belefonte' . May have been from the flip side of the 'Banana Boat Song' . My sisters and I learned it note perfect and teased our dad to the kids' saying to their "Mama look 'a (at) Booboo" (like a bum) they say. Their Mother tells them " That is your Daddy.' " Oh, no! My daddy can't be ugly so!" {We were raised relatively innocent... and colorblind.}
Back in the 50's-60's, the Timex motto was "takes clicking and keeps on ticking. " Timex was a sponsor for the Ed Sullivan Show and they did live action commercials torturing watches and then showing that they still worked and kept good time. One night they attached a waterproof watch to the propeller of an outboard motor, lowered it into a tank of water and started it. When they turned the motor off and raised it out, the watch was gone! They looked for it throughout the rest of the show. Finally, someone quipped that wherever it was, it was still working. I understand that they found the watch despite a dedicated search of the Ed Sullivan Theater.
Jeremy, I need the Papa Smurf glass!!! My 20 something daughters call their Dad "Pappa Smurf" and he has a beard too!!! If you would be willing to sell it please let me know. Love you and George George!!

At 4:29, isn't that a yoke? The Bible talks about being "equally yoked" meaning like minded and believing. Looking at that I can see the importance of being the same size as the one you are yoked with! If you weren't, you would both be in agony. Good object lesson.
the Ralph Bakshi Lord of the Rings rotoscoped cartoon might be horrible horrible to you younger folks, but back in the day it was the best thing since sliced bread. oh, and the cobblers tool is a shoe last with stand.
I just found a copy of the banned Little Mermaid at goodwill last week. I knew to watch for it from one of you earlier videos when you and George went thrifting!
Do you think this unit will be profitable? Hale$ Yes or Hale$ No?

That Smuckers display is my jam! I'm seriously jelly.
5:42 Wow! an old Tooheys Draught can dating between the 60s to the end of the 80s. Saw plenty of these during my college years.
Give the cabbage patch kids a clean up as they are worth big money these days. In the 1,000’s if you have the right one.

Old typewriter keys sell real good on Ebay. People make bracelets out of them.
21:43--My mom got a little Red spinning wheel for Christmas when I was a little girl (I remember that box). Holy cow does that bring back memories. Wish I still had it as well.

As for the record cabinet... Mine was a little longer with radio, 8- track player, and record storage. I paid 100.00 in the 70's

What if you clear the “school” locker and put the good stuff from the antique locker into it? That way you can sort things a little faster.
"very very nice" I literally be saying that all the time😭🤣🤣
