Totally agree with previous comment! Looks easy on new press . Wait until it’s done a 1000 jobs . Management still wanting same Jobs on the floor . Never time for maintenance,!
this is my dream work im working as a single color korean offset machine back in 1998 i hope there is a training facility here in philippines for that Speedmaster CX 75
I remember running a 6c Heidelberg with a 3 man crew. Wrenching plates, washing blankets by hand.....etc. These are machine operators not Pressman. You couldn’t pay me enough to do this. I’ll sweep the floor and watch you chase hickies. Oh....and ask the machine to gum in the plates for storage for reprints. Good luck.....
Can you Mack operating videos with voice spich computerized job, paper run, ink, dampenig, register, foult, washup, printing function, print speed, number of sheets, all about knowledge
Back in the day would set the Double Sheet Detector Manually and adjust the Plate Height of the Side Lay to the Sheet. Also to have only two eyes on a sheet brings stress to the Operator and makes him distracted if things don't run fluidly. He should be about Color, Press Checks, and the future jobs of a given day. The Assistant is there to assist Him, help operate the Press, and be a step ahead regarding production. That could be pulling paper, checking ink for future jobs, plates, ruling up sheets, going over layouts with Bindery, or whatever. The responsibilities go much farther......but depends on the Company you are employed by.
Oh no not registering....so you end up back at the Feeder while the Water is running low in the tank. Ink is now getting low in the Fountain also. Did I remember to add Powder or am I running out as your checking register now? Crap I have to rack it but only have myself and have no Corner's also as was left back at the feeder when I threw this Load. All the Boards from the first pass are at the Feeder also. You hear the phone ringing! That is my 10PM press check and you say to yourself I'm not ready. So you answer and tell them 11PM. As the sheets are falling into the delivery you continue your course. While everything else along the process is taking course. To think printing is a one person show is crazy! Don't buy it! No hero's in printing! Only good as your last job!

@@HeidelbergerDruck I meant that Axel only installs new plates. Who removed the plates from the previous run and when?
Dear @bobrik63, We will ask him, but due to the upcoming holidays, not all colleagues can be reached. Best regards from the Social Media Team

@@johnsmith1304 .. the boss never remembers the good jobs. .only the reprints. Always a false economy running without an assistant

Nice marketing commercial, but not in the real world.
