Written by Diane Warren. She wrote this specifically for Leann Rimes to sing it for the movie ConAir starring Nicholas Cage. But Touchstone rejected the LR version. 😖 unaware of the LR version, Trisha Yearwood recorded her version. The LR version charted higher + longer than the TY version. 🤠
NO...not a wedding song. From This Moment - Shania Twain that's a wedding song. This is one of the best ballads EVER, its #4 or #5 all-time on the Billboard Hot 100 songs of all time. Your Gladys Knight tune is Neither One of Us.
Disney thought that at 14, she was too young for the subject matter to ring true and it sounded more pop than they wanted. Leanns and Trishas versions both debuted on the same day and both were up for Grammys (for the same song). Trisha won..but Leanns version was on the charts longer and had major crossover success. Personally, I like Trishas version better. Her voice was more matured (obviously)...& I could never get passed the way Leann kept saying "without CHEW" instead of "without YOU." Lol ..I'm a singer too and those little things bother me. Sorry...lol
Listen to her sing " I Fall To Pieces", too....Patsy reincarnated....but not a wedding song 🤣😂 " You're the Inspiration " by Chicago......a wedding song....
Other leann rimes songs that you should check out are I need you, one way ticket, life goes on, and can't fight the moonlight. As much as I like leann rimes the version of how do I live I like the best is from trisha Yearwood she sang the song for the movie conair. You should check out both versions.
The only reason Trisha was picked to do this for the movie con Air is cause they thought LeAnn was too young for the movie. Both versions were released the same day. Don't believe me I'll send you the article.
Both her and Faith HIll recorded this song, I remember because some how it became a big deal when they wanted the song for the Movie Con Air. The movie studio decided to go with Faith's version since they felt LeAnn was to young.
Yo9u should listen to her breakthrough song Blue. th-cam.com/video/GozdIQx1Wow/w-d-xo.html You would see how talented she was and still is. Of course, there's also One Way Ticket too that I think you'd like too. th-cam.com/video/L6wM34HrJqo/w-d-xo.html
People will tell you Trisha Yearwood did this better...she did not....Leann owned this song...even at 14 years old she showed emotions and perfect vocals. Oh yea...and please...for the love of god....get rid of the chats on the screen...its hella distracting
Listen to Blue. It's so good and she sang it at 14 years old!! Incredible voice!!
She can sing anything. Nice reaction brother.
She is a beautiful human we love her.
She wasn't but about 15 or 16 singing this. Maybe younger. She had a big hit with the song Blue at 13 years old.
Definitely need to hear Amazed by Lone Star. Country group from the 90s. Was song of the year too:)
She was a teenager when she recorded that
You should react to Leanne singing blue.
Paul Stockey has the original " Wedding Song"
She is a very under rated singer. She ain't bad looking either.
and it is also an anthem for if you should lose someone

It's Trisha Yearwood singing on Con Air. I prefer her version more.
One of her saddest songs is "probably wouldn't be this way"

Yes the chew always bothered me. Also how do I live sounds like how do I “leave”. Drives me nuts.
One of the best peroformances EVER by a 14 year old
Yes! I got it!!!! It is my favorite!
love this version better than trisha's
You should check out "Amazed" by Lonestar. Definitely another wedding song
Finally a reaction to this song that has good sound quality
This would be a great song for the first dance for the bride and groom.
"ALWAYS" BY ATLANTIC STARR
IS THE ULTIMATE WEDDING SONG!!!
"Neither one of us"- on the Midnight Special
Alan Jackson's "Remember When" is the ultimate wedding song.
One of them but not the best
I Loved Her First by Heartland
And I like this version better than Trisha's but I do love me some Yearwood too.
Absolutely "Break In". Lzzy Hale AND Amy Lee. Wedding song material for sure!
Firehouse the song " Love of a lift time" would be a wedding song
LeAnn Rimes was my crush back in 98 I was 18 in 98
Listen to her sing " I Fall To Pieces", too....Patsy reincarnated....but not a wedding song 🤣😂
" You're the Inspiration " by Chicago......a wedding song....
Gladys Night is the Empress! Neither One Of Us. Anything by her!

I agree LR has a beautiful voice and she sounds great singing this, but I think TY does a better job with this one

It was Trisha Yearwood :)
@@CDO1113 Ah ok, lol I probably messed something up when I did the google search cause Faith Hill popped up. Thanks for the correction.
@@Zechs113 no worries! I only remember because I actually liked Trisha’s version better lol
Trisha Yearwood also sang it it was part of the soundtrack to Conair
You must add If I Had you by Alabama! I got your favorite Gladys Knight song right. I know you will love this one.

White Lion -Till Death Do Us Part
You much be 🏃♀️🎽💨👟running one of the of the bulldozer to fix the road
Love both versions but prefer Leann Rymes❤
If it was a break up song though it wouldn't say IF you ever leave. Js , that's imo.
I think of school dances not weddings
Hey do you remember when there was another version with Trisha yearwood? Both in the charts but Leanne’s was more successful!!
Dis is da wae,brudda
People will tell you Trisha Yearwood did this better...she did not....Leann owned this song...even at 14 years old she showed emotions and perfect vocals.
Oh yea...and please...for the love of god....get rid of the chats on the screen...its hella distracting
I know everybody has their opinion and I respect that. However, I think Trisha Yearwood owns this song! I really don’t care for Leann and her singing.
it's pretty but I like Trisha year woods version better
