That was one of the best scenes everI still get tears in my eyes after watching it way to many times. Sarah Brown was awesome! Thanks for posting the S&C story!
All these years later, I'm still in awe of the way this story line was written and the way it was played by the actors. Miscarriage is such a common plot device on soaps, always treated like some sad thing that people get over in a week. This was so true to life...it shatters your world when you lose a baby. Life stops, and these scenes happen...the words, the confusion, the denial, the arguments, the conversations, the seemingly-irrational level of attachment to any symbol that the child ever existed. The seizing waves of anguish that turn you into someone else. I guarantee at least one of the writers had personal experience with this kind of loss. There is no pain like losing a child. It changes who you are.
I get that the budgets for soaps have substantially decreased over the years but i wish the sets of the soaps were still like this. Maybe they need to cancel a talkshow (or two) and expand the budgets. On another note, i love the chemistry between Maurice and Sarah. Laura Wright is a good actress but her Carly and Sonny almost seem like friends sometimes, not husband and wife. MB and SB are gold
Wow, Sonny looks SO much like Michael Corleone from The Godfather here... I wish Claudia and Sonny were like this, they've wasted Maurice/Sarah Brown's chemistry.

Wow, this scene is still as powerful as it was 7 years ago when the actual storyline was airing. Maurice and Sarah were just golden together.
I remember watching this all those years ago. Amazing work by these actors.
THANK YOU FOR POSTING MORE!

I just realized Carly only has her oldest and youngest children left. 2 out of 5.
😢😭💔🥺
Now she has 3 out of 6 plus Avery. 💜
I loved S&C music . Do they still use it ?
