Have viewed a few of your Puglia videos. Was hoping you would have a segment on Gravina. My grandparents were born there and actually lived in the caves there in the 1880's-90's.
Thank you for viewing our videos. We didn't know about Gravina and indeed it looks like a place to visit. We will certainly visit when we go back to Puglia. It looks very beautiful on the images we found.

Die Grotte di Castellana ist eine der grössten in Europa. Die Tour, welche wir gemacht haben, dauerte zwei Stunden. Fridtjof hat seine letze Höhle während der Klassenfahrt in der sechsten Klasse in der Nähe von Meinerzhagen im Sauerland gesehen. Liebe Grüsse.
Hello and thank you for watching and for your kind comment. We really liked Lecce a lot, this might well be our favourite town in Puglia. Bari was nice too and Polignano was one of our favourite too. Matera, which is not in Puglia, but easily reached in the area, is a must visit too.
Wawww so beautiful Polignano a Mare! You have visited the places I have visited also. But I didn't go to that amazing places, the museum and the caves because I haven't enough time, I was in Lecce and I travelled by train. That song "Volare" one of my favorite song from that time, the 60s. I have enjoyed very much your video. When I was in Lecce I stayed in a wonderful place called "L'Orangerie de l'epoque" which is an old mansion transformed in Pension, with nice garden with orange trees. It is close to the castle. Keep enjoying this wonderful country and sharing with us!

Thank you for your very informative videos!! I have seen others but they don’t compare to yours!! Loved you mentioned the statue of Domenico Modugno who made Volare so famous!! I have been so curious as to who it was!! Mystery solved! Love you mention what towns have more restaurants and info about the rental cars.. We plan to go to Puglia next year 2021!! I love Polignano and you went to the best icecream shop...you missd Monopoly..just sound of Polignano is a very nice city with several beautiful churches and a very nice port with a Castle. Very smart about taking photos of the scratches on your rental..the restaurant in the grotto is not very good since being bought and renovated...VERY $$$$$$$$$$ but is a nice view
Polignano was a total surprise for us too. Monopoly will appear on a next video, you will see. There is so much to see in this area. We thought too that the restaurant in the Grotto was not such a good thing, the way they marketed it wasn't really appealing to us. Thank you for watching.
My husband and I got a rental car (through National) at the Bari airport. Great way to get around Puglia, if you are reasonably fearless and patient! Love Polignano a Mare! Did you get to Trani?

Yes, it is actually nearly the only way of getting around in that area. Public transport is not well organised. We did not go to Trani this time.
