if you don't have a serger what would you say is the best way to do the hem, use a zig zag stitch and cut off the extra material?

You can do a very narrow zig-zag stitch and cut off the excess or do a very narrow fold over hem - I'm working on another video showing the fold over hem method.

What would you say to using a stretchy fabric, and would the measurements be different since it stretches?

Hey Kim! I would keep the measurements the same. In my experience, when wrapping your head with stretchy fabric you have to be careful of not pulling it too tight. After a while if your wrap is too tight you will get a headache.

Can you tell me what the content of the fabric is?( Ex. 60 percent cotton 40 percent spandex.) Which may not be a correct percent.

I don’t have the exact percentage but it’s about 95% cotton and 5% spandex

If the fabric is 40" wide- you would have to buy 1 3/4 yards

You can use 42” wide fabric but instead of one yard, use 1 3/4 yards and cut the width to 30”

You don’t have to, you can fold it over when you put it on. Depending on the fabric thickness it may be more difficult to wrap bc there will more fabric.

How to make scarf for turban / head wrap, with 2 t shirts ? Measurements ?

I’ve never done that before, but just thinking it through- you would cut the T-shirt’s below the armholes on both, cut open on the side seams and sew one loose end together from each shirt. You would have to use a serger or zigzag stitch to sew, otherwise threads will pop when pulled.
