As someone who loves playing Alpha Legion, and who wouldn't?, I'm always confused why people don't take the Multi Melta on the headhunters given that the squad has Precision Shot (4+) baked in for sniping melta. Love the AL army non the less and obligatory We are Alpharius
Because the Multi Melta are sadly One Use. In tactical Support they are not
@@raphaelhormann953 You're thinking of combi-meltas, multi-meltas are the HEAVY weapon version with 24" range and are 100% not one use only
Another benefit is that HH Kill Teams have Relentless, so they basically ignore Heavy
Alpha Legion does everything, while thousand sons does nothing. 👏

Small caveat at 20:35 signums only work in the shooting fase (although it had no effect here)

Also, remember that you can't charge if you infiltrate. You need to wait a turn.

Great game, 1 issue tho you can't charge the first turn you infiltrate, so a lot of the kills from the dreads and alpharius charging shouldn't have happened

Nice AL. Personally i think thousand sons in heresy is a close combat army, should focus more on melee then shooty. They can cast pavoni 3" move to get the distance close in, and telepath to denied ur reaction. If fail still can try to cast pinning to stop u from running away. Or u can counter enemy shooting or overwatch pin them from charging you.Real Fun mechanics.

That Thousand Sons army seems really outmatched by the Alpha Legion army…
For a little fun if you got a deviation squad with cherub for a Aura trate but its also a melta charge you can single teleport upto 24" and has a 10"M and a 2+Sv W1 T2 and on death that turn next your shoot phase you get that added Aura still not counted as a model more the sergeant order for a unit. 😃😄😁😆😅5 Smile's.

I cant watch this saves all taken by Artificer Armor. Go for a home rules that reduce thoes number to initiative.
