I didn't have GI JOE as a kid, but I had Star Wars and it never occurred to me to have more than one Stormtooper. Funny. These Cobra Trooper/Officers are my favorite thing about Classified. They just look so cool and I like all the weapons they come with. Also a big fan of how you can store all the weapons on the figure. I'm not really army building, but I have a couple of the Cobra island Troopers, 4 of the Infantry, and two of these officers. I have 4 of the Red Ninjas too. I might buy more if I had the space. But I do prefer these army builders to a lot of the individual figures just as a cool looking toy.
Nice figure and review! Every character they make is just top of the line! I have 5 Cobra Troopers, I pre-ordered 4 Officers, should be a blue atmosphere! 😁
I got 2 Cobra Officers, 2 Cobra Troopers, and 6 Cobra Infantry. As a kid it's tough to army build because first, it's more exciting to get a different action figure than one you already have. Secondly, parents usually don't like to spend the money on a repeat figure lol. They didn't understand army building. Us on the other hand, do. I have gotten extra figures for my son to army build. As well as every Spiderman he wants since it's his favorite, even though he has plenty. If he changes suits we have to get the new one lol. But we have a collectors mentality.
I just got my first Cobra Officer. I do have 2 more in my PoL at BBTS. I only just really started a few months ago but I got 1 #12 Trooper and 8 #24 Infantry. What I REALLY need is #22 Vipers.
Don’t feel bad about not army building as a kid, neither my brother nor I did as well. It never crossed my mind as a kid, although I don’t think my parents had the money to do that anyways. Although I’m now making up for that as an adult. Won’t get as many of the officers as the infantry, but a few of them to help round out the ranks.
Exactly. I have never army build as a kid and my parents would rarely buy me joes to begin with. Now as an adult I have to army build these guys and SW Stormtroopers
Only toys I actually army built were those green and gray army men. I had literally thousands of each with vehicles and everything! Then the more advanced ones started coming, forgot what they were called, but they were highly detailed. Precursors to the McFarland military figure in my opinion. Just smaller.
Have one preordered. Think jist mixing a few of these as a squad works. Also have a Crimson Guard preordered. Wish had a Fred Head on that one. Have 2 infantry right now, a second BAT to come even though remember an arc in the DDP book where a solo BAT did some serious damage. Soon to get my second Alley Viper as well. Also have the Viper 3 pack preordered. I never thought about troop building as a kid. Then later got the packs at Toys r us and got some of those.
Army building wasn't a reality for me because I only got figures twice a year. On my birthday and Christmas so I had to make the most of my gift choices. Han Solo's blaster was based on the modified Mauser C96.
i have cobra infantry, cobra trooper and im getting cobra officer sunday along with cobra commander on monday. very nice figures and i think they are maybe the best ones yet.
I was like you growing up and playing with my Joe figures. It never occurred to me to army build. I never had the Cobra officer or trooper but I did own all of the different Vipers. The only figures I currently own multiples of are the Marvel Legends Hellfire Club guards. And I only have 2 of those.
Kyle, I just made my first purchase off of Ringside collectables and I bought the Chyna/HHH 2 pack and I used discount code Kyle to save me 10%. I got $4 off :D Does Big bad toy store do WWE stuff? Btw, I still think you should do a shirt that says "Use discount code Kyle, save 10%" :)
@@KylePeterson1980 Omg the HHH/Chyna two pack came in the mail today I wasnt expecting it to be here until next week. Ringside Collectables has gained a new customer today. I was really happy with them when I got home from work :)

Totally agree. I didn't know what an "army builder" was until much later in life. Plus no way my parents would buy me multiples of the same figure 😂
I get you, I had 1 Viper! 1 man army! 😎
I love this figure. I have purchased 2 so far. The Classified series is killing it. Thanks for the great review and awesome content!
I also got my 2 Cobra officers today, I'm not a mad army builder but it is nice to have a couple of each.
At first I didn't care about the removable magazines, but as soon as I saw the ammo pack storage on his belt I was all in.

My 6 pack of Spirit, Storm Shadow, and Cobra Officer is finally on the way from Dorkside Toys. Can't wait to get this in hand.

I think the add on piece for the rifle is a laser sight. But I agree, I’d be fine if it were one piece or permanently attached.
I got this guy and his is awesome. Going to pick up two more.
Kyle your the greatest man!!!!!

@aliens andspace Yeah, I know. I cry myself to sleep every single night 😁
I will replace those weapons with grid Iron studios weapons.
