    Jason seems like a legit good dude. I was happy to see him win this huge pot after losing the huge pot to Kane Kalas earlier in the session. Always cool to hear the thought process of the nosebleed stakes crushers like Jason Koon.

    6:40 I love and appreciate Jason's look of gratitude toward the dealer here 😂 cannot imagine how much he tipped this dealer.

    Most breakdowns do not impress me. Well Thought out J Koon

    I watched the whole thing. I can easily say Koon was tilting because he lost 900K (his entire stack) in a previous hand. he re buy in and decided to chase this draw. the tilting factor played a huge part in this hand.

    Um.. on the River Elton has to win 1 in 5 times to break even, not 1 in 4 times as Koon is saying, correct?

    • @vishrantgoyal8225
      @vishrantgoyal8225 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, btw, being a little more precise, pot odds are more like 1:3.5, as opposed to 1:4.

    It doesn't count at a 2.1 million pot. It's 1.5mil cause Elton folded.

    Woulda been funny if Koon bet like 40k on the river. That's obviously a I give up check there with little intention in calling a jam on the river.

    Is this small stakes for Elton or does it just seem like it to me? It just looks like he has all the money in the world and doesn't mind putting max pressure on people with less money.

    • @f_bricated
      @f_bricated 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not small stakes for Elton but he regularly plays larger stakes and has gotten to those stakes with his aggressive playstyle

    • @andrewkang2697
      @andrewkang2697 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Uhm, it's not small stakes but he plays the biggest games in Macau and is considered to be the biggest winner in live cash games ever. Jason Koon has mentioned Elton is a much larger winner than Phil Ivey, Tom Dawn, etc. He built most of his net worth through poker so he knows what he is doing. And since his net worth is really big, he is also able to put on the pressure against American or European pros that probably sold a lot of action to be in those games. I'm sure Elton has all of himself in the televised cash games you see him in.

    • @kcc1762
      @kcc1762 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andrewkang2697 I would bet he doesn't have all of himself. Also, I would bet Ivey has more of himself than Elton does.

    Thick the correct play is to jam turn.
    You’re not going to get any more value if you hit your hand. You could get better hands to fold.

  • @alanwang7721

    wtf is elton doing. He always shows the face like he is not bluffing but wondering why the other person raised when he has the nuts. So fking annoying

  • @leclubber
    @leclubber 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    As played, he should have aggressively merged his polarized opponent range on the turn to make his decision the most gto possible on the river by having a spr of 0.6 due to him not being rfi pre though he should have Pio'd the hand on his last time bank extension to verify if he had indeed room to make his 6 high a value bluff knowing that he was never overfolding vs a semi-reg in that precise spot and that it was no-brainer +chip EV check. Therefore he could have completed his PG&C and then made a sick post in BBV.
