By measuring the substances on a scale, you are measuring the mass of the substances. Each substance has a different density, I think that might be why your proportions are hard to get right. I recommend measuring by volume instead.

Adding more of the hardener will definitely make the product firmer (and less squishy...) , but it'll be better than messing it all up and having to start again!

Yes they are seriously decades ahead of the rest of the world ❤️!! I love that Japanese companies treat crafters as adults and make incredibly high quality products. From my experience, most Western companies produce poor quality craft supplies, particularly any products aimed at children. For this reason I'm ready to create my own DIY line because I'm simply not convinced by the quality from most manufacturers. I would love to do that someday but I need to find the right supplier first. Sadly as I don't speak Japanese, it's not possible to work with any suppliers there 😅

Have you experimented with actual silicone? I was looking to see what was available. I would probably look into Ecoflex 00-20 and Dragon Skin 10A. Ecoflex is softer and stretchy-er while dragon skin is a little more well known and durable. They are both from the same company.
TIP! After you you mix the two part resin, add food coloring powder, it works better. Chalk doesn't work well when trying to incorporate in resin in general.
Yes you can!!! You can make a black slime with clear glue, and black paint and it will be fully black! Also you can make a black butter slime with clear glue, black paint, and black model magic clay :)
Hi! It only works with clear glue that contains PVA (eg Elmers). So if you're certain it's PVA glue then clear or white doesn't make a difference 😄. However many clear glue brands don't contain PVA, and if you use those by accident then it can ruin the paint and cause it chip more easily.
