This is where I stayed for my first visit to Maui. I will definitely stay there again because of their generosity to the wildfire victims.

True. And those hotels now have problems. Royal has added special events, shared their tennis courts, had a snow zone, activities and sends 200 children off to school evevy day.
There are government services offered in their ballroom. The paperwork for the Lahaina fire victims is endless. The insurance claims for rebuilding do not offer enough money to pay the building rates being quoted. The County has not helped with blueprints or assistance for rebuilding.
Kaanapali has had 5 fires and 2 evacuations since the Lahaina fire.
Wonderful! All the resorts should be housing all the residents and the government should reimburse them. The agencies should set up in the hotels conference rooms to make it easier for them. What a difference it makes to have a comfortable room and clean water, internet and access to Uber and Lyft. I hope everyone remembers this hotel and stays there if visiting Maui; bravo to this hotel, the owner and staff 💕

I was stranded and didn't eat for 18 hours the 8/9/23 Hyatt kaanapali gave me breakfast lunch and dinner until road opened

Right on Royal Lahaina, way to live up to aloha spirit
We had a great dinner at their oceanfront Royal Ocean Terrace. The staff were upbeat and the new casual menu was great. The hotel employees and evacuees decorated for Christmas. Their luau has restarted. The Lahaina Tennis Club is using the tennis courts. Lahaina Restoration organized a Snow Zone event for West Maui. The hotel is housing 200 children. After dinner we went home feeling hopeful and encouraged. An amazing group of employees creating a wonderful environment
Will go back soon to try one of their buffets .

Beautiful sentiment. One neighbor hood may be charged $20,000 for mandatory sewer hook up. Many were in cess pool systems.
The County water and sewers had no back up power so they mixed and got toxic.
That hotel is amazing. Why can alot more America hotels do this for American families who lose their homes from disasters. GOD Blessed that Hotel. This made my day. 😢☺️🙏💯❤️
