The insert is a Filipino Language, Ilonggo (Hiligaynon), one of the 175 distinct languages (not dialects) in the Philippines. It is a Lullaby, Ili Ili tulog anay, The complete lullaby in English is as follows: Little one, little one, sleep now (or awhile) Your mother is not here, She went to buy some bread Little one, little one, sleep now (or awhile). In this song, they only sang the first 2 lines. This song is sang to us, Ilonggos, by our parents/aunts/uncles, etc to help us go to sleep when were little....The melody of the song was adjusted to fit the Million dreams but it is similar to the lullaby melodic line/notes but different arrangement as the lullaby. It was very creative. Filipinos are known to have great musical arrangers...
The inserted/mashed up part was a traditional lullaby from the Central Philippines, the Western Visayas region. It was in Hiligaynon, one of the local languages.
This is the song that they supposed to sing on TWB according to Mackie on his IG. But TWB asked them to change it to Flashlight instead with so many cuts.
The Filipino part is a dialect called HILIGAYNON from the western visayas part of the Philippines (my city called ILOILO) and an old lullaby song mother’s sing to their babies to sleep. It’s was an awesome rendition of the song a million dreams and the lullaby called “hili-hili” or in American, it’s our own version of “rock a bye baby”
Best reaction I've seen so far, they injected a Filipino folksong in the middle which means "hush little baby, sleep tight, you're mum's not here for she went to the store to buy you a bread, so sleep for now" so the whole song goes, a Filipino lullaby actually🇵🇭🙏😍❤
Thier voices combined is so angelic and beautiful that actually have a healing quality to it. That if u listen to them the connection that they have to the song the emotion that they give u u gonna have goose bumps
Hello Bubs & Doe I love your reactions...most about the TNT Boys...the boys have something you can hardly put into words...they inspire from young to old, all over the world...i feel like you...goos bumps...tears in my eyes...this can not be just the voices, the harmony or the look...when these three sing, magic floats in the room...i can not say otherwise...listening to these three is a pleasure every time... They are getting better and better and better ...nice greetings from germany...
That part you love is a lullaby in native language. It is a song being sung by a caring nanny who takes care of a baby while mom is not around Thank you so much for supporting our boys Love from California
Actually that is a hiligaynon song. One of the dialects here in the philippines. It's a lullabye song for young kids. It means. "young child, sleep for awhile for you're father/mother is not home yet." From a hiligaynon native speaker from bacolod city, philippines.
I'm a Filipino and that's our native language here in Iloilo, it's called Hiligaynon... Ilonggo however is the term used to call folks/people from our province, and people tend to call people an Ilonggo if they heard them talking in Hiligaynon, so that causes a lot of confusion in determining the language to the people who uses it, coz not only in Iloilo can people talk in Hiligaynon, also in Negros, Bacolod, Sultan Kudarat, and some parts of Mindanao and Visayas... "Ili-ili tulog anay, wala diri imong nanay" it can be translated to "little one go to sleep first, your mom's not here yet" - a lullaby used to sing by nannies for babies to go to sleep while waiting for their mother to arrive... Hope this helps and thank you for reacting to the TNT Boys, love lots from PH
It's Filipino lullaby song. Amazing and beautiful renditon. I will never get tired listening to this one. Boys, you killed it. Harmonies are always on point. The runs, belting, high notes, adlibs, riffs and soulfullness, they slayed it. Keep dreaming BIG, boys. Thank you for supporting them.- Mackie's Team A/Mackie's Team PH🇵🇭
Now give yourselves pure joy and watch any of the videos that show the blossoming relationship between Mackie and Esang De Torres. Two beautiful young people finding each others heart.
It's like watching your kids grow up and bringing joy not just to yourself.. but the world.. so happy the TNT boys got to have their time in front of the world.. it'll bring even more attention to the talent the Philippines has in it's ranks. can't wait to see more.
Watching outher raises reacting on tnt boys makes my heart flutter,Thankyou very much for appreciating and reconizing tnt boys talent,God bless you! #proudFilipino
I've watched a lot of non-Filipinos react to this performance of the TNT Boys and it's so ironic that almost all of you loved the bridge part of the song. It's a Filipino lullaby sung in Ilonggo (one of the many dialects/languages in the Philippines. Tagalog isn't the only dialect we, Filipinos, speak. Like me, I speak Cebuano. Ilonggo is different as well ☺). The lullaby "Ili ili tulog anay, wala diri imong nanay" means, "Sleep little one, your mother isn't here." It's a very sweet lullaby to listen to. ☺
Thanks for your supporting of TNT boys, and I hope that you got a new song of them, Together we fly and the Impossible dreams and that is really amazing special my Francis, and God bless both of you girls
"Ili-ili tulog anay, wala diri imo Nanay...adto tinda bakal papay". This is the complete version of this Filipino-hiligaynon classic lullaby. More litteral translation would be: little one, little one sleep for now, mom is not here, went to the store to buy (swee) bread (for you)". However "little one, little one" is rsally a correct translation because "ili-ili" refers to a slow-soft swaying movement of the body especially the arms while holding the baby making him or her to sleep calmly. The baby here is crying because of the feeling of the absence oe the presence or smell of the mother. Simply, "ili-ili" is untranslatable in its own very sense. It always makes me emotional everytime I heard this lullaby...for this is the first song, melody lullaby I ever heard and learned, as well the only melody I could never forget. It always sooth my soul especially when I feel lost....isn't it silly? Yeah but who cares, mother's love is just so powerful.
its a classic filipino lullaby means: Little one, Little one sleep now your mother is not here we have 170 diff languages here in the phils pls do mackie and francis 7 rings cover thank you
@deo lopez Dialect means a variation of a language, eg. Laguna Tagalog, Bulacan Tagalog, Batangas Tagalog. These are dialects. Hiligaynon is a language different from Tagalog. So Carina is right.

Of more than 180 languages and dialects of the Philippines, I only understand at least two. So when I heard the part where the lines are different, it's so new to me. Btw the lullaby part gives me so many feels
It's a Hiligaynon(one of the regional languages in the Philippines )it's a folksong used to sing to make babies sleep it means "Hush baby go to sleep ,Mother is not yet here "Those harmony taking to me to the other side of the world 🌏🌎🌍seeing them smile makes me forgot everything happened in the world best 😊😊it's a healing song for us 😊😊thank you so much for your supporting, your reaction is priceless it's means a lot to us a Filipino 😊😊😊more power to your channel 😇😇
Thanks both of u for appreciated our tnt kids,, the tnt kids adding ilonggo lulubay that's lulubay we always use to sing if we want the baby sleep,, " Ili-ili tulog anay Wala diri, imo nanay Kadto tinda bakal tinapay Ili-ili tulog anay that's the song tnt kids added.
That part of the song that they incorporate was one of our language/ dialect in the Philippines thats a lullaby that mothers sang to their babies when they put them to sleep.. Thank you so much for supporting and loving The TNT BOYS 💕.... may you be a part of their Million Dreams in showing their GOD given talents to all their followers and fans all over the world.
That part they just sang is a lullaby from a dialect called "Hiligaynon" titled "Ili-Ili" and what it means is: sleep for a while, your mother is not here"
You two are so adorable...that part was one of the hundred native dialects in our country specifically ilonggo dialect. It says sleep my little one mother is away or gone...thank you for loving our TNT boys. Much love
Love how you kept replaying the "ili-ili tulog anay" part. That gave me major goosebumps as well. It's from a lullaby in one of the many languages in the Philippines.
It is the prettiest because I have never heard it before done that way. It is complex three point Harmony and then they finish it with a Keifer whistle note, Bloody brilliant. By the way the song is not Tagalog but it is a Lullaby from one of the other islands, and a great place for a Lullaby is in a song about a million dreams. They are getting so much better.
Watch TNT Boys "A million dreams with story line". You will know them a little better ans love them more. This song is so right for them. They never stop dreaming. More blessings to come their way. Thank you for your support.
Yup. I agree. It has so much meaning when they sang it, knowing their backgrounds. And especially when Francis, the one who went through hardship the most, was the one who sang the song first.
Thanks Bub and Doe, I have to commend that I really like your reactions to TNT boys rendition. Those smiles and chills says a lot at how TNT boys talents are beyond amazing. There's just something magical once they open their mouth to sing is like a good spell go right straight to our bones and give us so much chills especially with their harmony at their very best! Epic indeed!!. Great job Francis, Keifer and to our ever dearest Mackie. Thanks again for reacting, you two are great! . ~Mackie's Team A ~Mackie's Team PH
Love your reaction vids on TNT Boys, ladies! Doe, I agree with you. That's my fave part of their rendition of this song - we hear them singing in harmony and then they transition into different parts before going into that crescendo of AHHH. I only hear that in a full choir. Blew my mind, that one! Bubs, you're not alone with the tears. We are all moved by this performance after that TWB debacle (I should probably say The Show that MUST NOT BE NAMED...wahahaha). Their music arranger has inserted a Hiligaynon (one of the Philippines' many dialects) lullaby, which means something like "Sleep little one, your mother isn't here"...but I'm sure there will be other commenters who'll give a more accurate translation. Thanks for the reaction!
you two always brings smile to my face everytime you do reations to TNT Boys.I thank you for the support and love you are giving to the boys.To all the Filipino around the world, WE thank you!!!!!! BLESS YOUR HEART
Wow!!!!!! they injected an ilonggo lyrics... I am so proud to be an Ilongo because of these TNT Boys... Mabuhay ang TNT Boys!!!! “Ili-ili tulog anay… wala diri imong nanay” is a very popular lullaby sweetly sung to make babies sleep in the "ilonggo" speaking region of the Philippines. ilonggo language is spoken by the people of Panay island and Negros Occidental in the Western Visayas part of the Philippines. “ili-ili” is a word use to describe when you hold a baby inside your arms, very close to your chest, and at the same time gently swinging your arm left to right… “tulog anay” means “just sleep for a while” “wala diri” means “not here” or “not around” “imong nanay” means “your mother”.. So, “ili-ili tulog anay … wala diri imong nanay” means “just sleep for a while… your mother is not around
Yes! What amazingly beautiful rendition. As we all know 5hat the World Best Show just used these talented kids to gain more followers & viewers around the world ‘coz they alrdy captured the hearts & supports of the people. Nobody can bring them down. Actually, they made a twist to this song by adding Visayan lullaby one of our provinces dialect. God bless them always!🙏❤️🙏
It's a lullaby song in one of the many dialect in the Philippines, They will be having a single album coming out and a world tour next month in Hayward Ca, Los Angeles Ca and Edmonton,,
I have listen to this song from the beginning for two days straight now and it is not getting any better. Every time I listen my brain finally picks up a new and wonderful sound that it didn't on past runs. There are companion harmonies which I or my brain didn't catch on the first listen, there are even times where all three are actually singing different words but remain in harmony, The harmonies in the Philippine lullaby are so intense and intertwined that brain couldn't catch up to what I was seeing during the second time they sang it that I totally missed that Keifer and Francis were not singing the wordy but giving two part harmony in the background. This song as short as it is, is so intense and so complicated, that listening to it only once does it an injustice. In my opinion it is not just a song or a comeback it is art at its finest, which I hope that the people who do the song of the year give it, its due. I don't believe that I have heard finer music and I do not believe that I have finished picking up all the subtleties in it and for some reason I don't think that I ever will. Note::: to Bubs & Doe: The tears and speechlessness have increased with every new discovery. If it isn't the best peice of music I have ever heard the difference between this and whatever was is so small as to no longer see.
They inserted a lullaby in a Filipino dialect called Ilonggo. This was the song they were supposed to sing in the World's Best but was changed by the people in charge to a shorter and without whistle Flashlight.
The insert is a Filipino Language, Ilonggo (Hiligaynon), one of the 175 distinct languages (not dialects) in the Philippines. It is a Lullaby, Ili Ili tulog anay, The complete lullaby in English is as follows:
Little one, little one, sleep now (or awhile)
Your mother is not here,
She went to buy some bread
Little one, little one, sleep now (or awhile).
In this song, they only sang the first 2 lines.

It was very creative. Filipinos are known to have great musical arrangers...
Thank you ☺
Now I know that Hiligaynon is like Cebuano, because I understood all the words used in the insert.

too bad they weren't able to showcase this great arrangement.
And they cut off the song highlights like the whistle ang runs... Too bad they can stop tnt boys from achieving fames....
Really?!!! OMG! They could have won that const with that piece.

“ili-ili” is a word use to describe when you hold a baby inside your arms, very close to your chest, and at the same time gently swinging your arm left to right…
“tulog anay” means “just sleep for a while”
“wala diri” means “not here” or “not around”
“imong nanay” means “your mother”..
So, “ili-ili tulog anay … wala diri imong nanay” means “just sleep for a while… your mother is not around

Angelic Voice. This is the song they supposed to sing and not flashlight in the World’s Best.
