I made marmalade last year, although I ran low so had to bulk it up with grated potato and some kind of cornflower stuff. It tasted absolutely awful but I shifted tons of it at the church fete. I carefully put up a "No refunds" sign on my tressle! Helen Bankes from the Old Mill was livid and threw her jar at me in the Post Office but luckily I was too nimble for her and it ended up all over a pensions poster
Thank you Charlie, glad to know it’s not just us that are forever swapping furniture between rooms! I’m looking forward to hearing the podcast with Alena - hope the cake turned out to be a triumph ❤
as a x groomer , i was told to always rub under the tummy first and then on top, because most of the mud and dirt is under the tummy !! if you let the mud dry off , then brush, i hope this helps.
Prefer this sofa. Wasn’t sure the other green was quite right. Love the pale green of the cushions and think they all look lovely with the pinks on the cream sofa.
Lovely vlog episode. Many thanks Charlie. Do please let us have a peek at Coco’s birthday cake. Sounds very intriguing. I much prefer the sofa that is now in your garden room to the green IKEA one. I do like neutral creamy colours (we have two sofas in our sitting room, terracotta and navy and our two little terriers live to snuggle up on them) but creamy colours aren’t suitable for our home. Good luck at the boot camp. I need to do something like that soon. Have a great weekend and enjoy half term with your kiddos x
Thank you so much Veronica you are so lovely. There are a few different options The Members Club will have two tiers and as such two price points. It’ll be a subscription based model of £15 a month for Tier One, and £30 a month for Tier Two. If you’d prefer an annual membership subscription, I’m offering a discounted rate of £149 per year for Tier One. Tier Two will feature everything Tier One offers, as well as your own Ask Charlie buckram A4 binder (made to order to reduce wastage), and every month’s two top tips sent direct to your home as a print out to add to your binder. I like to think of the binder as your Life Skills Manual! As the years go by, you’ll fill it with how-tos, recipes, tips, tricks and more. Hopefully that’s helpful xxx
I think you need another trip to the auction for a settee. Don't be throwing good money after bad on the IKEA settee. Put the £600 towards a better one. I've been there and done that, lesson learned.
The way Florence looks up at you melts my heart 💖
Thankyou for sharing Charlie xx
She is such a darling xxx
Enjoy your chats. They are never boring lovely as always. Agree the sofa swap was a great idea x

Another lovely video Charlie 💕 Can I please ask where your beautiful apron is from? I love the print! Have a great weekend x
Gosh! You are so open. Be careful of strange people. Looking forward to online friendship and networking. A lunch meet in London may be good.

Thank you, we are really pleased with the swap and a bigger sofa in the drawing room works very well xxx
Yes, the blue and white stripe apron is perfection. Where can we find one like it? Cozy chats are always nice. Thank you Charlie. 😎Bethany H
Just a thought…do you have blinds in your garden room? If not, visitors might find trouble sleeping, especially in the summer!
Yes we have blinds at all the windows so it can be dark and cozy xxx
I think I missed the amount the subscription would be. Well done I think you are inspirational xx
