Zheng mastered the technique of overhead smash while his partner willingness to go in front of the court and execute a front net kill is absolutely breathtaking for a XD pairing

Have you seen the 2019 edition of XD final the same tournament between this Chinese pair and Indonesian. That match were much more entertaining and thrilling than this one

Mixed doubles matches of Chinese, Japanese and thiland are really awesome, their current XD teams are on annother level, so much of excitement, thrill , in XD matches among these teams. Feels much better than mens doubles

No it's not Faster than MD. I would recommend Watan / Endo Vs Sukam / Gideon. One is an all out attacking, monstrously fast pair. Other is a defense wall. Damn, I would never be able to get over that England Open finals

Zheng's drop is special 👍
Love both pairs. If I have to pick one, Higashino got to be more aggressive at the net. She has good jump smash which unfortunately does not count much in XD. The girl at the net has to make opponents lift.
That and I don't feel like her jump smash is that powerful compared to Huang Yaqiongs standing smash. It's better angle but she's gotta do something about her defense. It's the weakest on the whole court.

not really, you can't see the clear movement and the rotation from this angle. it's good for some times, but not the whole time of broadcasting

I can only play that fast for 2 hits before making an unforced error while they can on average hold at least double digit amount of back and forth rallies. Shows how much national team training can do for you even if you don't reach their level, at least you'll have consistency.

@@kahweicheng6315 yuta is not lacking power i agree. arisa got a little outclassed this match but she has got a lot better since! considering they beat wang/huang recently happy to see it
@@COZY__BOY Yuta's language has spread to Arisha, realistically Yuta's smash is weak compared to Zheng Siwei, Yuta only relies on dropshot
However he seem to not be able to execute drop shot as much this game, i think its the pressure and the pace that china is putting on to him. Arisa definitely was demoralized by the barrage of smashes executed by Zheng. Yuta did very well but a series of mistakes by Arisa caused them the game.
It a tough game but im sure both pairs r very content with their performance and also to the audience. Xd era of indonesian and china of the past can't challenge the pace and intensity of the current xd. The same goes for ws. Its the highest standard of ws in badminton history with marin and TTY at the helm of it. Ms took a little dip when the giants of the past retired LD,LCW,TAUFIK etc and their void can't still be filled. MD r still the best among all 5 disciplined as long as indonesian style of play still exist.
