We find it interesting how the travertine formations at Mammoth Hot Springs change each time we visit. I am sure that the springs have changed considerably since 99. Your welcome, and thanks for joining us for this ride!
Another great video. Even in the still photos you have audio of the scenery, nice touch. As I will be heading out to Wyoming this August I watch all of your videos. Thanks!
Always nice to hear from you Clint, thank you again for another kind comment. Yes there is even audio in the stills! I spend more time editing audio into the video then with the video portion itself. The videos are best viewed (and listened to) on a larger screen with a decent set of speakers for the full effect. I am sure that you are getting excited about your Wyoming trip. I hope that you are getting some good ideas from these videos!
Yellowstone is truly unique. We have been to most of the great parks on the Pacific side of the continent. Yellowstone is, in my opinion, the one that is a do not miss. Incredible scenery that is like no other place. It does have large crowds, something that I downplay in the videos, but it is still so worth it. As for Wyoming, well, my kind of place for sure! If you like those twisties the next video will be right up your alley, or crooked road! It will be all about the twisties!
Another great video. I recently started watching your channel and realized quickly we have been on a lot of the same roads in Montana, Wyoming and Oregon. It's great to relive the moment. I have lots of pics and hope to start doing more video. I have an overnite stay planned in Gardiner again this summer during "the guys" yearly bike trip.
Thanks for joining us for the ride! Yellowstone has incredible scenery making it a must see. It also has a lot of good riding in and around the perimeter of the park. Join us for the next couple months as we continue our video exploration of Yellowstone National Park!
Beautifully done! I really enjoyed the ambient sounds without music this time. I know how difficult it is to find, use and cut music into the video and it's always well done but your videos can stand alone using the "natural" sounds along the way. Either way your video trips are the ones that inspire me to get out and explore! Thank you Robert.
Great hearing from you! Using the "natural" sounds only is actually a lot of work for me. I do try to add music not to cover, but to enhance the experience, and it can be difficult to time everything correctly so that the music doesn't cover subtle sounds, such as songbirds, etc. I like the music added, I feel it enhances, but I also have those that follow my work that have expressed their wish to have music free videos , and for them I create videos occasionally that have no music. A little something for everyone hopefully. Thank you for your support!
Thank you for bringing back some great memories of Yellowstone National Park, a real American treasure. Do you have any more videos from your visit to Yellowstone which you plan to release?
Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes I have some more videos coming up of Yellowstone National Park. 7 in all, starting with the video previous to this one, leaving 5 more yet to be seen, this month, and into April. I hope you find they also bring back some great memories!
Great location I'm looking forward to getting us all up to! Where at Mammoth Hot Springs can one get down into the water to sit or wade around in the hot springs?
Almost all the hot springs in Yellowstone, including Mammoth Hot Springs are way beyond wading temperatures. If you go in, you aren't coming out! That being said, there is one place I know of, where the Boiling River comes into the Gardiner River, that has soaking pools in the rocks along the river. You can see the parking area on the left for the short walk upriver in this video at 3:27 into the video. At 3:37 in this video you can see steam coming up on the left side of the road, and ahead where these soaking pools are.

Bob, another great great video and great scenery. Great job. So enjoyable to watch!
Spectacular landscapes make creating a good video a lot easier, and Yellowstone is on the spectacular side!
Easy to get lost in the scenery with just the purr of your bike. Thanks for the ride!

Nice video and well edited. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you! PS. You published it on March 3, 2017. When was the actual ride date? Thanks again. :)
Thank you, it is always nice to hear from someone that enjoyed our work.
We rode this in mid August.
