Art From Home: Suiseki

Join us for this week's Art From Home with the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art! We will be creating Suiseki, the collection, preparation, and appreciation of unaltered naturally formed stones.

We will talk about finding your stones at the beginning of the video, but you will also want to have the following materials on-hand:
A clean, shallow, waterproof container (try to avoid clear tubs)
Sand, pea-sized lava, or pumice (about a freezer bag full)
A sieve or screen to clean the sand
A spray bottle filled with water
A comb, spoon, or soft paint brush
Baby oil, Vaseline, or olive oil
A clean, cotton cloth
