Thanks man! That’s awesome and I really appreciate that. I’d love to see your bike and the progress you make. It’s a very expensive but rewarding hobby.
Hey thanks man! Much appreciated! Building this bike had to be on a budget, as a 20 year old in college I didn’t have a lot of money, so I did basically all the work on my own and just self taught through TH-cam and and the internet. Witch for this bike wasn’t easy, not a lot of info or parts available for this bike specifically. Anyway, you basically have either just cheap options or sometimes really expensive options and the master cylinder I got was just off eBay and very generic. With saying that I will say I haven’t had any problems with it and am actually really happy with it. You can find something a little more quality though if you do a little research, that part specifically I wouldn’t say is a difficult part to find. As long as it fits on your bars it should be fine.
Nice build and great video. I've got the same -77 -2D 1T5-00... with mikuni carbs CV BS34 1J701 (aka mark 1, only one choke position etc) Ive got DNA Air pods and 3-1 pipes to a semi-original muffler. What jet settings do you have? main jet, pilot jet, float level, and pilot/fuel screw (idle mix)? Ive got my build on dotheton: www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=73430.0 Kind regards Mathias, Denmark
That is actually the reason I got this bike, so that my girlfriend and I car ride together and it has worked fantastically. I will say that for as cool as the seat looks though, it is not the most comfortable for longer rides.
Awesome job!! Just started my 76-77 xs 750 project. You killed it!
