flyleaf is a band that you can cherish and adore without being religious. I'm not religious but I am spiritual, and this band has always held a scared spot in my life. I have severe anxiety and it when I'm at my worst I can listen to any Flyleaf song and feel like there is someone else out there sharing my pain.

If you ever listen to the lyrics very closely, it is something that just speaks directly to the soul. At least it does for me. Go listen to Freedom from their last album with Lacey. It is a work of art.

I'm sorry but I can't tune out her tense vocal performance. The shaking and waving in her voice, and I know, as a professional musician, that its not vabrato. There were a few points where she was out of tune and her diction is horrible. I'm sorry but I can't put that aside.
