What to take in from this episode:
At 0:04, the form that Knuckles saw in the visions are reflected on again. This could mean that this is Shin Sonics' near final form.
At 0:45, this might be a warning that Shin Sonic has gotten yet *ANOTHER* emerald. I imagine Sonic had an emerald to begin with, got one in the city, and now he got one again.
At 2:37, you can see the "KING" statue again. We now know that Shin Sonic has collected 4 emeralds so far. He most likely ate the statue to make it harder to reach the emeralds.
So here we can conclued that samedi if knuckles IS in the past the futur continue without him so it make the plan much harder

Shinic is after the Chaos emeralds, and Knuckles is after the Super Emeralds. They're different items despite being similar. The biggest difference is that the super emeralds are a lot more stronger than the chaos emeralds.

You know it’s strange how this began as a funny parody of Sonic and then it turned into a horror series and now it’s already an anime series
This was so cool like the way knuckles had to go back in time to find the super emeralds then had to fight and elder echidna and the way you included the flames of disaster like that and how the elder echidna and Knuckles both had to fight one of their own species was insane and finally get more animation styled theme and actually have character dialogue and we haven't really had real dialogue sense cries of the forest
i like this serious style ! its quite the contrast from the usual comedic-cartoonish style
cant wait to see more !
This is definitely the biggest coin flip for humanity. As long as Knuckles knows what he’s doing, then he’ll defeat Shin Sonic and show him how superior the hyper form is compared to super. But if he somehow messes up and Shin Sonic acquires the Super emeralds for himself, then god help them all.

Just discovered this series and watched through all of what you've produced so far and wow, this is an evolution of what the creepypastas of the early 2010s should look like. A ton of passion, inspiration from other sources while making it your own take, it's both the perfect amount of freaky and charming in regards to the animation work (both the Newgrounds inspiration and possibly in this one, Nazo Unleashed? At least it's reminiscent of Chakra-X's style imo).
Keep up the great work, glad you're getting the traction for it.

On the sonic tapes CRY OF THE FOREST, when they were talking about the moloch statue, they said: "When authorities returned to the location of the statue later that day, it was nowhere to be seen."
And if we go on 2:34, we can see that the moloch statue is inside Shin Sonic, with the statue holding 4 of the chaos emeralds, it needs only 3 for the moloch statue have all of the chaos emeralds, Knuckles needs to get the chaos emeralds before Shin Sonic gets all of them...

This episode works more as a way to revamp the way the story will be told from now on. Even though it was short and didn't add much to the story it was cool to see. I like the determination in Knuckle's voice when he gets up and the rage in his face, the stakes are just too high to Knuckles lose to a single punch.
Some important things Evanimas said about TST:
As stated by Evanimas, from now on, Knuckles story will be told in a more detailed and animated way, and Shin Sonic's story will be told through vhs style, VHS editing is easier to do so Shin Sonic episodes are expected to be done faster than Knuckles episodes that will be more detailed.
We should expect the episodes to be released in 2-3 months intervals, obviously we should expect delays since he is working alone and has to do human stuff as going to school and was even having boxing lessons.
Evanimas said that for TST to reach the end it will take 2 years, considering that each episode will be released in 2-3 months, it will take another 8-12 episodes to reach the end of the series
