@@jackmack4181 Good old fashioned anthology. If I had to pick art styles.... Valli: whatever that thing Guildwars 2 did for their original teaser trailers and race intros (circa 2012), and that first minute of the Year 1 anniversary trailer. Painted art works crudely animated along the joints, giving the idea of motion without much of it. Captures the odd various thematic tones for the Sylph and sky pirates, and the surreal sensation of hearing a tale of a legend undone. Tanhauser: Soft Cell shaded animation with emphasis on earthy color tones, tans, browns, etc to represent the back drop, and both dull and bright reds and yellows to create contrast for the bloods and banners. Visceral in its visual, but adds metaphoric qualities with the contrast. Look up Asura's Wrath Ep 11.5 (DLC for the game, and basically an 2D anime episode), where the whole thing is done in a mixtures of CGI and hand drawn designs with weak outlines, and cell shading like coloring. I love it because it gives "light" power in such a dark backdrop. Its hard to watch that and not think this is exactly how Tannhauser sees these events, or even his righteous fury, in his mind. Hell, even the base game's QTE style could work. Oran: Pop up book. Like a Real pop up book. Its hard to explain why its so inline with his personality. Its trying to distance himself from reality when recollecting those events, to help cope better from the horrors hes faced. Victrix being very simple and straight forward would also have a very straight forward animation art style. Almost purposely mundane in its execution. But the unique artifact to the telling is how the audio is drowned, and voices of characters being mere quiet mumbles or noises as they gives the motions of speech. The only coherent voice is Vic's narration over it, as the details are not important; just the conclusions and assumptions Vic draws from the events unfolding. Now for Rahooa....... With 100% certainty, it should be Squiggle vision. The animation style of early Tom Snyder, who did Dr Katz, Science Court and Home Movies. The Chaotic, undulating outlines, as if a child was animating a story. The lines unraveling and encircling into shapes with each scene shift. A distillation of nostalgia for a time that is difficult to remember in any real detail. With only the barest of recognizable forms, to describe concepts which are often difficult to grasp in the first place.

Hulky really just made a character who’s entire existence is owed to destiny lol. I can’t be mad my characters have been owed to Tarantino movies and bad adventure games.
