I LOVED IT !!! It's Terrific for me to hear THE Barry (Mann) - and, I feel sort-of privileged because he is the brother of my cousin, Norman. I have Adored since the beginning "On Broadway" and "You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling" and "On Broadway" - which are probably, for me, the most Famous.

Somewhere Out There was released in 1986. It was later included in Ronstadt’s 2002 compilation album titled The Very Best of Linda Ronstadt. Songwriter Barry Mann wrote this 1980s classic with James Horner and Cynthia Weil. It was specifically written for Steven Spielberg’s 1986 animated film, An American Tail.
E como voltar ao passado em pouco mais de 4 minutos, maravilhosa melodia. Sinto falta dessa época onde fazíamos bailes nas varandas e na sala e os bjs rsrs passou, e ficaram as ótimas lembranças.
Wow...fantastic. Honestly didn't know what I would be listening to..(as far as Mr. Igrams part). But am just breathless! Thank god for the 80's and early 90's. Wish kids today could understand and appreciate, what us "old people" lol are talking about....but than I guess they wish the same! lol. Thank you so much for posting!
The original key is far too high for Barry Mann. Only James Ingram can hit these impossible notes. Of course, Linda Ronstadt can sing any high notes and she does it so beautifully and effortlessly.
Yeah I love the song somewhere out there is a beautiful romantic song sung by Linda Ronstadt & James Ingram
Wow terrific voice of Ms. Linda Maria... praying for you
This song always makes me cry, even when I was little. It still make me cry. I am hopelessly single.
You're not the only one. I feel you.
Barry Mann the genius the Creator the Alpha and the Omega... your great Barry, Keep On Keepin On brother!
😢😔

Belíssima canção.amo.
Love this song...its hard to beat the Linda/James Ingram version. Still a nice job.
Barry Mann who sings in this video, is the writer. An actual genius, alongside his wife Cinthia who just passed unfortunately

My favorite version by far.
