I love the power. With the right gears a speed deamon.
Not enough grip with them rear tires . Sliding around , is the grass wet also ?
the ground was actually very hard so grip was an issue for everyone. the spikes seemed to be sitting on top and not digging in at all, so with al that power it was tough getting any forward drive for Darren. He tried a different tyre set which worked well, but i had gone by then so did not get to see and film it ;)
The truck looks sweet, but an increase in tire size is probably beneficial, the smaller tire combined with that much power makes for an accident waiting to happen, on such a nice investment that would be a sad day. Thx for sharing.

RC Maxx UK hmm get some, to me it looks like it needs something like a big ass monster truck wheels and tyres.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it wouldn't spin out as easy with larger tires.

Could also be if he has the baja diff oil too thin then it will break loose quickly and pushing one tire more than the other. Easily the baja diff w that engine should be 100k minimum.
Am not sure that possibly as well it has so much torque that tends to pull the car to one side.

Andrey Bo becuase it has the losi 5t chassis and front end and has the hpi baja rear end screwed to it so you can have the durability and fun of the rwd baja and have the stability of the 5t.

I really like it but the anodising looks cheap like its from an old hsp anodising. The number of parts done too. But its probably 3-4k sterling.

Can anyone tell me why you guys don't have any plastic cylinder shrouds on your cars. I run a modded Baja 5bss with a Zenoah g320 on grass oval like you's & would rather have the shroud off as flywheel sucks grass up into shroud between cylinder & have to clean it out after a couple runs in case of fire. Guys on 1/5th forum inform me that without the shroud the engine heats up more as it's there/designed to take airflow up & around cylinder. Is there much truth to this? Nice rigs by the way! cheers

I'm not sure whats the point of using a motor that you will never see its full potential. This is more power than you can apply in this application.It's like putting a 454 on a go kart, looks and sounds cool but not really practical.

You don't need to with the big bores. Just take it easy for a couple of tanks, with the acassionial blip of full throttle. Then start dialling it in

RC MODEL just large enough to SIT IN,,,,,,,,,,,and someone else drives it with radio.

yes mate.. no traction with the tyre setup and grass that day.... its a work in progress ;) the setup has now been changed and the tune is getting there
