Cool! How has the Flying Fox held up vs. the Stacyc in terms of durability/reliability?
@drewgray1458 Just like all the bikes there can be issues. From the ones we experienced a throttle here and there and a set of motor gears on 1 bike. Overall pretty reliable. The prevent the damaged gears we recommend not landing on the rear wheel with a full throttle. We have seen that strip the gears in Voltaic and Stacyc bikes. All those issues I have mentioned have been covered by the Voltaic 1yr warranty so that was great.
What accelerates faster between this and the Orion e20x?
@@travis1118 I would say it's a tie but the Orion goes faster at 28mph. But if you get the Voltaic 20" 48v model it has better torque and acceleration from its 750w motor.
Are these easy to wash? As in can you spray it down with a hose?
@@MotoMatt418 I have and just make sure to avoid the throttle and battery charge port directly.
What is the RFN electric bike? They have the same exact video as voltaic.
@@seanmuehlhauser9612 RFN is the same bike but was white labeled to Voltaic, this is a different importer.
How are these holding up long term? Looking at the 20” for my som but concerned with its reliability and how much of beating it can take. My son rides dirt bikes and stacycs, tired of the stacyc breaking down and he beats on it. Thanks
@@Sh-ck3uy our personal bikes get ridden hard and we haven't had any major issues. We had some motor gears go bad from heavy riders and stress tests. They were easily swapped from the motor. I like the Voltaic line because they have parts available and easy to work with. We haven't any complaints about them so far. No bike is perfect though and there is always a chance for something to happen.
@@hsmotorsports9239 Awesome! Thank you for the quick response.
Ride time on a battery?
Roughly 45 minutes
What battery system are you running on that Stacyc 20? Thanks!
Aftermarket Greenworks 40v
@@hsmotorsports9239 very cool! Thx for the info!
Can a 13yr ride it
Yes we had a 13 and 15yr old riding it out in the desert for testing.
How old is the kid in the video?
At 5:46 that rider was 5 about to be 6. He is now grown a bit more and able to handle the Flying Fox 18 with no problem.
@@hsmotorsports9239 Thank you. My child is 5 and a half years old and I have been worried that he can't handle this 18!

18 too tall for an 8 year old that is average size?
No I think the 18 would be good. My son just turned 6 and can just barely ride it.
