Student loans, PSLF update for May/June 2024!

PSLF is getting updated and going from Mohela to the Department of Education - if you are looking for student loan forgivness via this student loan forgiveness program, it's gonna be a couple months!

It's a VERY good thing that the Dept of Ed is taking over from Mohela for PSLF processing of student loans - no one likes this pause but it'll be over soon enough!

If they are pausing, I suppose attempting to call to find out how many qualifying payments you have under their criteria is a waste of time and we should just wait and hope they give us their results of quantification on the matter?

Hi! According to this website (studentaid.gov/announcements-events/streamlining-loan-web-experience) You will have to wait until July to get your payment count update via studentaid.gov
I know this is a hassle now but it should prove to be a FAR better system than what they had been doing - and July is only a few weeks away 😯. Thanks for watching! -k

They did not debited my June payment. I am afraid it is not going to count.

They won't let you pay.
