@@planespotterronish I saw one taking off at JFK. I was literally in shock of how loud it was, i have also been wanting to hear one in person which I finally did!
First i though that this was an A330 Untill i watch more carefully and i noticed the B777's Rolls Royce Trend 800 Engine's. I live near Heathrow Airport. This engine sound is really amazing and noisy at the same time
Whilst my favourite are the GE90s, I find the Trent 800s to be the most characteristic of all powerplants, frankly because the growl on a few Trents are diverse on certain registered 777 airframes. Hence why I’ve been exclusively keeping tabs on the RR 777s for a few years now!
3:12 Wow! Sounds like the buzz-saw GE TF-39 engines! 🤩👍🏻✈️
Haha, I’m taking you really enjoyed the video. And yes, it does sound like a TF39 especially the first part 👍🏻
1:15 Wow, it sounds like the buzz-saw P&W JT9D-7R4D engines! 🤩✈️
@@J8sStellarGraphicsHe knows that they are not. He said that the plane sounded like it had JT9D engines
@@Alejandro_9350 oh sh i misread it mb
Out of all the Rolls Royce engines, Trent 800 has to be the best sounding one!
My thoughts exactly! Thanks for watching 🙂
Yes it is 🔥

They do sound nice. After the hair dryers!
Great clips - the sound in the first was phenomenal
Yeah, proper loud that one was despite being next to the bus stand!
@@TheEnthusiastOnTH-cam you did well to capture that then 🙂
Woah! Sounds like a classic TF-39 powered C-5 Galaxy!
It does resemble the TF39s quite a bit
To put it simply, YES YES and YES!!!
I imagine that was an easy answer by a longshot! 😎
Wow! That is amazing!
Indeed it is! Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Wow! I didn’t know I would be that loud! :D
I know right? It completely drowned away the bus noises as it towered overhead
Wow, brilliant footage mate! The audio was better than ever before, the pax sure know when the engine is running! 😆
Definitely! Mind you that first clip was taken at a bus stand right adjacent to an industrial site, yet the Trent 800s out-shadowed all that noise! 😲
@@TheEnthusiastOnTH-cam Wouldn't be surprised if the factory called a strike for high noise work environments 😄😜
Awesome growl off them!
I agree. Thanks!

Yeah this one is plenty noisy lol, its one of the loudest Trent 800s out there. Sounds absolutely wicked for sure 👌🏻
I have a video of an American B777-200 taking off from JFK on my page. You guys are more than welcome to check it out. Love the sound!
Awesome 👏
It is indeed! I hope AA decide not to change the engines out too soon
1:12 A330 sound
It sounds like one at 3:08
777 Trent 800s are more roary than a330 Trent 700s
@@planespotterronish Yeah, and also a lot more louder
Oh ok
I’ve never new
1:11 something familiar😂
GOOD 👍😊
Thanks!
1:13 can hear best
My least favorite Trent engine type tbh, but pretty loud. Sound best on approach imo.
