I think we need 5 more Charlie Hull's on the LPGA tour!! I love that she seems to have ZERO fu**s to give about anything! As for the smoking, health risks aside, I think people just want something, anything to be offended by these days! She could smoke a pack a side for all I care!
If anyone can play the ryder cup then why does John Rahm need to play at least 4 events to be able to play, since going to LIV, or did I miss something?
She said she’s smoking cigarettes instead of vaping and wants to quit. As someone who used to vape all the time I completely understand trying something else to quit
As a smoker for decades, I'm of course not offended. I've got a cigarette in my mouth even while I'm hitting half the time. As a husband who had to make the decision to pull the plug on his wife after she got lung cancer, I sincerely hopes she does better than me and breaks the habit. My wife died at 37. I'm praying Miss Hull lasts a whole lot longer.
Golf definitely needs more characters. The PGA Bore with the totally uninspiring local commentary is unwatchable.... obsessing with US colleges which no one else cares about. DP world is 10 times more watchable than PGA even the LET...
I am very strong in my opinion that as adults we have the right to make our own decisions. But there are certain aspects in which I think you have to consider other people. I don’t smoke never have never will. Only thing you get from it is disease. Cigarettes stink they leave horrible fouls smell on your clothes, hands and breath. People who don’t smoke shouldn’t have to be subjected to that. If you want to smoke that’s your right but do it were it affects you in your home. It’s disgusting when your out in public someone smoking in front of you and you get a face full of dirty nicotine smoke that has come back into you. I don’t ask for that. You choose to smoke do it were it does not affect others who choose not to smoke. I saw a clip of Charlie who asks a fan for a lighter. She lights her cigarette and exhales nicotine into those supporters. Telling you now I would not appreciate that especially if I had my young children with me.
Hmm answer me this... do you drive a car or use some type combustion engine ? If so, it's exactly the same principle... I don't like breathing in the toxic fumes your vehicle produces but have to put up with it 🤗

I have the odd smoke when I'm playing but unfortunately that is the only similarity between Charley and myself. 😒😒
