UP adjusts the grades depending on the quality of the school. With the proliferation of 'honor' students nowadays due to the DepEd grading system, its easy for students to get high grades. But UP knows the caliber of the different schools based on data collected through the years from UPCAT performance. A grade of 95 in a prime science high school is not the same as from a regular high school.
Despite inputting all grades, the grades that matter to UPCAT are those related to the 4 areas - Language Proficiency, Reading Comprehension, Math and Science. So some subjects are not counted so averages may not be too accurate.
I was in the GF of MBAN waiting for Magy. Alphabetically arranged kayo in the room assignment so di kayo magka room. Y sya so Room 310. Total 7 sila from MakSci who took the APE.
My daughter graduated from a science high school in Metro Manila and her average from Grade 8 to 11 per my estimate is just around 95 but you already know how she performed in her college entrance tests...

@@a.7.n.18 That would depend on your UPCAT score and other factors na po. Afterall, maraming bagay ang bumubuo at nakakaapekto sa ating UPG (University Predicted Grade). I cannot say for sure if you will pass po, but having good grades and choosing a nonquota course will certainly increase your chances. Best of luck to you po ✨
