My Norn ranger will always be my favorite character ever. The flavor, lore and vibe of being a Norn beastmaster revering the spirits of Nature and even turning into a beast is just chef's kiss.

never liked the norn race the way arena presented them to us. Drinking alcohol, getting into fights and doing STUPID things. i may be primarily talking about Eir and Braham.

If I remember the Norn were presented better in guild wars 1, Jora was a really cool character

@@Evan4K Norns were heavily nerfed between GW1 and GW2.
the first time we see a norn in GW1 is Jora and Ogden is almost scared to death that we'll take a wrong step because he knows we'll get killed if we piss her off.
And to fight the Great Destroyers where all the races come together with armies, the norns arrive with a group of five. And, it's because there's a teenager who pissed off everyone so that we let her come.
In GW2... well, a norn is no more dangerous than a human or an asura.

According to the lore Orr is the location where the human gods first set foot on Tyria. Bringing the humans with them. Not Cantha.

Think you may have commented on the wrong video. I definitely didn't word that section properly. You're right Orr is where the gods arrived, however there is lore from guild wars 1 that suggests that humans were in Cantha before anywhere else on Tyria.
