- Aliens Extermination Arcade game released by Global VR in 2006. Full play through in 4k. This game is 4:3 aspect ratio, and i wasn't able to get the game engine to render it correctly at 16:9 so i left it as it should be rather than stretch everything to make it reach the edge of the screen.
The sound plays correctly on this video, it's got proper 3d positional audio effects in place. All engine rendered, nothing is done through editing. If you want to hear an example, put headphones on and jump to 01:44 and listen to the 2 barrel explosions, they pan across the speakers as the character moves. You can also hear the shots pan left and right when the first doors open up just after those barrels explode. Also in the first hallways as they run at you from the left and right side you can hear the 3d audio from each side. It's pretty well done in this game, especially through headphones. The game has average sound quality in general but it's much more enjoyable when it at least works properly.
Not the deepest game, but it's Aliens.... who doesn't like Aliens?

This game honestly scared the fuck out of me as a kid, I played it a while back a couple years later, now basically desensitized to that type of shit and just had a great time lol

You barely even tried to not shoot the friendlies 😂😂
I couldn't help it, this game was just too cheap. They shove them in front of you, sometimes you just have to indulge in a little "why the hell were you evern there" friendly fire.
