I enjoyed these 3 videos immensely. What a wonderful insight into Gary’s life. Thank you! And I, like others, wonder where the next in the series is? Having just discovered Blade Guitars I will now go and find out where I can try one out!
Interesting video...had no idea who the man behind Blade Guitars was. So it was great to hear his story. From the 80s on I play a Blade RH-4. As most guitarist I have a collection which is to big, although through the eyes of my loving wife. But...when push comes to shove I always fall back on the Blade RH-4. The reason is the button which Gary Levinson is talking about. The guitars transform within one click from Paul to Strat. Further on the guitar plays marvelous. It's a Strat that goes far beyond Strats. I hate to say it but where Fender stops, Blade goes on. I feel privileged to play a Blade RH-4 !!!
Big fan of Blade guitars and own 4 off them - An R2 and aT2 both made in 1989, an RH4 from 1991 and a Texas Vintage 62 made in 1997. They are so under rated and make the best “F” style guitars full stop. Good to hear Gary’s story but where is part 4????
I stumbled across a Blade Bass by mistake and it was one of the best experiences with an instrument as a bass player. Very solid, no-frills instruments that are top-shelf quality. It's a shame that this company isn't bigger here in the U.S. I'd love to pick up another Blade bass in the future. The qualities and personality of Gary are very apparent in his instruments.
This is wonderful! I have had 2 Blades and still have one (which has the VSC in it). I wish I still have the other one. And I think I’ll get another one soon. I hope you will post the ray of this interview!
Hi Gary! I hope you’re doing great!! Are you still in Switzerland? We moved up the coast to the Ventura area. Enjoying it up here! Let me know how you are. Rick Carlson & I are still in touch . I talk to Linda Rabe a few times a month and Brian(Rabe). I’m more into playing these days! I was with a John Lennon impersonator for 15 years and pretty much toured the world. Anyway, I hope you’re well! Regards; Don Butler

Was the Part 4 video of this series that Gary talks about at the end of part 3 ever filmed or released? I can’t see it anywhere.
