This worked perfectly! I have both a gaming desktop and MacBook Air 15” and always had to unplug pretty much everything but my monitor to charge my MacBook to use with my mounted 34” Samsung monitor. This makes life so much easier and I’ll probably use my MacBook more often now. Thank you for this video!

Thanks it worked. Keep the trigger External Display = 1 while ignoring in-built display and install power protect for convenience of connecting power adapter while the lid is closed.
