Hi Joel :-) I have a very American question to ask... how "famous" is Keegan in the rugby world? (There is no subtext there) I'm just curious if people like recognize him and ask for his autograph or is that not really a thing to do with rugby players in the UK? When you vlog and you guys are out and about I always wonder about that. He is obviously a big beautiful man so he would be hard to miss... I would imagine people stop him all the time?

I’m unsure what was funnier, Joel generously applying the pulse point balm, or Keegan complaining about the champagne, only to be interrupted by the flight attendant offering the champagne, only to tell them it was no big deal.
Keegan cracked me up when he was complaining to you about what he was still waiting for and the door that wouldn't close, then the flight attendant came from behind right then and Keegan replied to her oh no no that's alright,Lol. Business Class with all it's amenities, and surprisingly appetizing food looks like the only way to travel across the pond, next time you should try Air France, the food and service should be outstanding. All stores in major cities are having to lock up everything, theft is the highest ever so be careful. How funny is it after seeing the luxury of the business class bed/seats and gourmet meals and champagne Joel comes on camera and says "We have arrived finally, after a long TAXING ride" 😂 I love the bougie moments and I am so happy for you to be living your best life! I know it's hard work too and that you are very frugal and aware of costs. I hope you have the best time
I'm pretty sure he said "after a long TAXI ride" meaning a long taxicab ride from the airport to the hotel.
These random daily blogs are so awesome. Love seeing how cute and funny y’all are especially with each other. The best white cheddar snack is from Buc-ee’s . This is a huge convenience store and many are located in Florida. You have never seen anything like this. They have these Buc-ee’s nug-ees that are in every flavor you can think of. White cheddar, Caramel and Salt, Buc’os snack rings and the list goes on and one. These snacks are so incredible. Looking forward to tomorrow’s vlog.

Yes Joel, Unfortunately, theft is at an all-time high in New York State. The stores are either locking everything up or closing the stores altogether. You will find this in many of places in the U.S.😢

Due to artificially inflated prices more people can't afford things especially in NYC .. Income hasn't kept up with the price of living .. Under such economic conditions it is historically normal for such behavior .. Under better conditions such as during Clinton's economy such crimes decreased

Joel: Did I ever tell you that I somehow got bumped up to Upper Class on Virgin on my way home from Heathrow to LA in 2002? I had a chair massage in flight! OMG the flight was amazing! Don’t know why they chose me, but I didn’t complain!

Now I want to travel business on Air Canada for my next trip to London. Also I agree with Keegan, New York is massively overrated but I still love going there at least once a year to catch a good show on Broadway. Safe travels my friends.
Holy cow, if I ever fly to Europe it’s got to be business class. That looked AMAZING!! You are correct that beans are not a thing for breakfast in the US. I can’t even wrap my head around beans for breakfast. 😄 Can’t wait to see your trip vlogs!

for domestic flights, generally speaking business class is just a wider seat with a little more room...but for the long flights like new york to london, sf to london, nyc to honolulu, etc., they use the lie flat seats. Basically your flights over five hours :)
I would definitely want it too, because I would be flying from SFO, so to LHR is 10 hours 30 minutes! I would definitely need business class with the lie flat seat, because for 10 hours you're definitely going to want to sleep some of that. 🙂
As a former corporate pilot, while their biz class accommodations are nice. Our planes are nicer, 737-8, private bedroom, bathroom with shower and max pax 14 + crew.

I definitely feel Keegan. NY is definitely overrated, it's alot to take in it's psychological n emotional overload. I've giggled so much during this video. Jealous of the business class flight! Thanks for showing all the fun niceties they give you up there. Sadly as others have said shoplifiting has taken on a life of its own in many US places. And CVS, while convenient, is expensive even where I live. I can only imagine in NYC - $9 for toothpaste!! Wow.

I've only flown business class once kinda by mistake (well I was going in place of my Dad) It was so lovely, travelled from Sydney to San Francisco. Loving your vlogs Joel!

Ps… tip for next time you travel. If you need toothpaste go to CVS, Walgreens etc and find the travel section and they sell smaller sizes for traveling and it’s not as expensive. They will have shampoo, lotion, face wash and other bits you might need.

Beaumont - Spent many a training week there (with many hours in the bar) when it was owned by ICL and was their training centre. Remember one course when the lecturer stopped the session to allow us to all watch Concorde perform its climb on take off.

Oh a lot has changed in NYC since your last trip in 2020. Covid and Crime hit it big. (and a few other things) I'm with Keegan on this, I think NYC is very over rated. And I'm in NJ! CVS is very high in price, especially in the city. And sad to say, they are starting to or have already, closed quite a few of them down. (2 in Orlando) But on a high note, man, your plane trip was something else! I would love to fly in business class! Lucky you! Someone may have said this in the comments but I hate scrolling to see. In New England (not sure if all the east coast does) many breakfast diners offer beans at breakfast. We also will have them with supper occasionally. Especially with BBQ, hot dogs or kielbasa. My husband usually gets them for breakfast when we order out. The beans are different than the kind you have though.

Not as common as in UK, but a full Canadian breakfast could well include baked beans.
I agree with Keegan, I live an hour away from NYC, in Long Island. I prefer the quietness of the suburbs. There's just too many people in the city and I have an irrational fear that a building will fall on me. Plus there's lot's of cool hiking trails to explore when you don't live in a city.
15:27 yeah I'm a big city guy too, that's a view that I like. Closest I have been to NYC is Groton, Connecticut, for submarine training....someday I'm going to make a pilgrimage to the Northeast Corridor, so much I would want to see in Washington, Philadelphia, New York etc. It might have to be two or three trips lol

Ok I'm jealous of the CVS Keegan and Joel went too, It appeared that it was a lot more stocked up than the one around the corner from my house. In most major stores, Ralph's, Kroger, CVS, Target, Walgreen's, Rite Aid, etc, most personal care items are behind locked cabinets that can be opened by store enployees. At CVS and other stores, there are usually call buttons that can be pushed to alert someone that a customer may need assistance if they want to purchase toothpaste, deordorant , some brands of shampoo, etc. Ir's been like that since before the Pandemic but with shoplifting a sharp rise in shoplifting during the pandemic, stores put a lot more merchandise behind lock and key. CVS hhas always been more expensive than most stores , even more so with inflation. Oh was the Sensodyne toothpaste you saw a single tube or a twin pack, usually twin packs are typically higher in price than a single tube , which would explain the $9.99 price tag. For example , a single tube of Sensodyne could cost $6.49 while a twin pack is $9.99 , of course before tax.
The announcement about the peanut butter 😮 are people going into anaphylactic shock being in the same room as someone with peanuts now?

I live in New York, but have no desire to go to New York City. Cheddar cheese popcorn mixed with caramel popcorn. My niece's fiance owned a Caramel Popcorn shop and mixed the 2.
Devere beaumont estate is great if you stay in the old house cheaper to book direct aswell which is great
My family do beans with barbecue foods… So perhaps ribs, hamburgers or brats. It was more of a summertime side dish served, hot or cold. 😬

Just completed a trip on American Airlines in Economy Plus. Not quite business, but definitely a step closer!

Used to live in Brentford Dock on the Thames in the 80's and early 90's.
Taxi drivers hated us when we wanted a cab back from Heathrow to our flat. We were often swapped mid journey to another cab so the original cabbie could join the queue again ???

You two are just the cutest couple! I too hate flying, don’t do it anymore. I had 3 trips to the UK in 1985, 89 and 95. The first trip, we flew Wardair, you are probably too young to remember it. It had the best meals, all on Royal Doulton china. I just had to be on the aisle, no way I could look out the window🤮
