My maternal grandmother's house is almost opposite to his shop in Lucknow, I have so many childhood memories of these people and these places. Treasures❤️
I have visited his shop once. Lalla's biryani is extremely unhealthy. He uses "dalda". The biryani is literally soaked in dalda and flavourless. The rice is more like " namkeen chawal" rather than biryani.
In Lucknow many small kiosks sell better biriyani than this. I don't know why exaggerate this biriyani so much. Artificial colour, flavour and top it all with dalda.
It's my heartly request to you plz try to visit any time at Dada Boudi biriyani at Baracpur, Kolkata, West Bengal and try to taste the mutton biriyani of this place. This is the best mutton biriyani shop in Kolkata as well as in West Bengal and India too.
