Yeah that was confusing to say. I ment to say that I can use my PAL external 9v on the Super Famicom. In the end ... i just used an universal power supply because combined with the mayflash adapter it did not want to boot up.
@@WickedGamerCollector Your comment made me think deeper about something that is intuitive to me. I'm a native English speaker, so I understand that "an universal" doesn't sound right and isn't correct. But why isn't it correct? I asked myself the rule, which is to use "an" before a vowel and "a" before a consonant. Well, u is a vowel, so "an universal" should be correct in that case. But it isn't. I looked it up and it's just because it sounds wrong. You just have to sound it out sometimes. And that's very confusing for someone who isn't a native speaker like I am. So I wouldn't fault anyone learning English for saying "an universal." It's simply wrong just because it is wrong, and that's a dumb rule that would be impossible to tell. A helpful rule I suppose is generally it's "a" when the u makes a "you" sound such as in universe or utility, but it's "an" when the u makes an "uh" sound such as in understatement. I noticed myself using a before you and an before uh there too, which reminded me that y is sometimes a vowel and sometimes a consonant. English is stupid lol.
I love Tetris Battle Gaiden but they now have a updated one called Battle Tetris Gaiden V1.1 for Super Nintendo where you can play also as the bosses! The Dragon and The Grand Princess! You just scroll down below the Wolfman to find them to choose. It's also English patched! 😎
When I decided to start playing and collecting retro games my first purchase was a Super Famicom complete with a bundle of games including all the RockMan games back in 2015. I love the round design.
this is fantastic! ive just bought and restored a sfc to replace the one that i lost in the 90s! Finding a relatively cheap way to get the best picture using that rgb+scaler is great! thank you so much for this info! I am currently using a n64-hdmi cable which is giving a lot of ghosting and not a great picture at all! sad as my old sfc running scart on a sony monitor was gloriously crisp and sharp! my next task is to collect all the games i had on my old system! :P
I have 2 SFC's in box and a Analogue Super NT. I have 56 SFC games complete in box and 2 loose carts. I use a component cable for the SFC's and although I go straight into the TV my goal is to get a retrotink 5x to use the component cables with eventually. The only thing I don't like about HDMI dongles is that you have no control of the image so will always choose component with an upscaler of your choice.
I don't know why. But I got into a minor depression after not winning anything your last giveaway. This kind of thing isn't normal for me. Tho for some reason I can't stop thinking about it.
The Super Famicom is a great option in 2024, there is a lot you can do with it. If you use everdrive systems like the SD2SNES, you can dump rom hacks like translated SFC games and I found a folder with a lot of fast rom patched games with reduced slowdowns. It's also one of the easiest systems to collect for, I'm found some premium sealed controllers, never used from like the late 90s early 2000s like the competition pro megadrive clone with turbo buttons, Interact Superpad that was officially licensed by Nintendo and I even repaired a Hori Super Famicom controller which is the main one I use.
I left a link in the discription because they sell them on ali-express under like 100 different names. You find them on Amazon sometimes for 2x or 3x the money. They just call them Scart To 1080p HDMI Upscalers.
A lot of time to get the best game play and not have to deal with consoles with bad emulation it is best to the original console. But for me as a person I preferred the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive over the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom but doesn't mean that there wasn't any games on the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom that I didn't like. There was some games I liked to play but even so still preferred the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive
Tutles tournament fighter is an excellent game, bro...played it like a madman ages ago... Used to own a snes copybox in the 90-ies and had access to all sorts of games that were unreleased in Pal region Such fun looking at 'newly released' games in the toystores which I already played months ago 🤣
I finally got myself a 1chip Super Famicom maybe 8 years ago after always being infatuated with it since I was a kid. It is such an amazing looking console. Worlds better than the US SNES. Also Japanese games are way cheaper nowadays with games jumping up in prices in recent years. I recommending buying in lots if you are buying from Japan to save on shipping. For video I use a Rad2x. Too bad that wasn't included to show how these cheaper ones compare.
If you watch the part again you see the Expensive Bitfunx 2x ( Is nice looking). Cheap solution is a HDMI upscaler with RGB Cable (Best Quality) Retro Scaler haves aspect ratio option. Question remains what you like to see and have in the end.
I have 2 of them. 1e is only PAL so can't use that. 2e not on my studio location & is to big to get a nice good shot from it. Need to figure out how to get a good tv that supports it all and not to big.
If you value your Super famicom you should know that they run on 10vdc compared with 9v ac of the 230 volt uk and European power supplies model numbers nes002 GBR for the United Kingdom power supply and Nes002e for the European one!
Aye. TMNT: Tournament Fighters for Mega Drive is a 💩 sadly. As if they published by completely different company, but they were not (Konami). Clearly different developers, though.
@@WickedGamerCollector Well that's just awful. I dis*like* trying to understand what you're saying without the word being thrown in everywhere repeatedly for no reason so none of it makes sense.
Your video suggests the pal and Japanese power supplies are the same.
I understood pal is AC and Japanese is DC...?
Yeah that was confusing to say.

@@WickedGamerCollector ah.. ok, you meant you can use another pal PSU from some other system..
I brought a new (DC) PSU for my JPN SFC 👍

Flashcarts solve the issue of expensive games
You can also put US carts in it with the riser adapter

For Super Famicom : use official Sega megadrive 1 PAL power supply. Works great.
When I decided to start playing and collecting retro games my first purchase was a Super Famicom complete with a bundle of games including all the RockMan games back in 2015. I love the round design.
I used to rent art of fighting for my super Nintendo back when it was new

The SF will still be one of my favorite consoles

can it be that 5 years ago those sfcs where only at ca. 50€?

I was thinking buying one and adding this to the list of HDMI solutions.
Main problem is finding one and for a good price 😅
Hey can you help me who is better x19 or x12 "7" plus or x70
Pls tell me who is better ??
which of these 4 hdmi adapters, did you get the best result in the image?

I've got SNES mini hacked so don't need Anything else :)
Hello you have any suggestions for Japan stores for EU with included VAT?
I personally buy from local sellers or jump on Ebay if I need something.
I buy one too in 2023. in brazil 😃 we are together 👊🏽
Try do the videos with this games at 4:3 ratio.
ooohhh , quite cool
Why you don't have crt tv ?

Yup, Klopt inderdaad 😅
You can’t use a PAL SNES on a Super Famicom. Different power inputs (not talking about mains voltage)
