One day in November, THIS November, I will be 74 !! This piece and performance by Ana feels exactly how I feel about that eventuality; sad, but happy as well that I've made it this far when others much younger than I were not blessed this way......
Funny about this piece..It looks so thin and flimsy on the page, but sounds huge and moving in the ear and heart; a true example of 'less is more' !!

i played it for my girlfriend last week
I learned half of Deep River Blues by Doc Watson when I was 13.. my buddy did the other half.. we thought it was pretty slick.. I show my parents.. my brother's friend, classical guitarist with university training... does this piece... better than Deep River Blues and caterwaulin... or something... it's hard to please everyone.. ;;☆》.. this piece stands as a monument to my path trying to learn how to play the guitar...just a little.. David T was great.. I just want to have fun
Simply a lovely performance for Ana's full tone and emotive use of dynamics as she artfully sounds a pretty melody.
I heard this in the morning, and now it's stuck. This is my third time through today. I even picked out the first couple bars on the guitar.

Enchanting ! I love how classical guitar can take you away to another world. I feel the same about electric guitar but when classical guitar is played with such care and attention to detail with a lot of emotion, it is truly amazing
Beautiful! I bought my first CD of hers in '99 or 2000 (on Naxos) and even then her maturity and artistry was amazing. In the decades that followed she's only gotten better.

Was there when she came on March to perform for a 2 hours concert in Athens. As I had suspected, she is so flawless as in the vids, transmitting the same feelings, Trully made me cry with her "Cavatina" encore. A true MASTER of guitar.

Everything Ana does is impressive, I love it, but there is something she is expert at, the "Cgggg" of the dragging of the strings of the left hand is NEVER heard, that makes her music completely clean ... I'm lovin it
I was thinking the same. She says she puts some lotion on her hands, gives her precission and tip of her fingers are softer, gives a warmer sound. Something like that.
Yes, so clean. Very rare.
She really works at no extraneous sounds. I believe she uses lotion or something on the left hand and lifts her fingers whenever possible.
