I feel like AG has been soooo hit-or-miss for years now and this seems like a sign that they're finally finding their identity again. EVERYTHING looks great!! I'm so happy for the brand honestly!! I hope all these items end up being actually produced and sold. I'd love that Pleasant pillow... and pretty much every other item lol. I am beyond excited-- my wallet is going to HURT!!

This is exciting and I hope the dishes and other items are available for purchase! It looks like girls clothes, but it would be nice if they released some clothes for adults. I hope this rebrand is successful and I love the details of how and why they chose fonts, colors, etc.❤❤❤

At first glance I wasn’t super fond of the rebrand but now seeing how much thought and care went into it, I’m happy AG is receiving the love and care it truly deserves.

So excited! AG had turned into a shadow of itself, and this is closer, though I don’t love the bright colors they chose. I hope they come out with a better house at some point, and go back to more wood, less plastic. They’d turned into large Barbies. So glad to see this shift!

If AG ever decides to reboot the historical brand back to the OG with best friends 1986-2014 that would be amazing but it will prob not happen but if it does than I’ll be broke for years and years
The fact that there is so much new merch for adults tells me we might get best friends at some point!

I looked at the Pentagram site and it was so cool to see everything! The new white blouse with the ruffles and brown button looks so classy. And you can see all of the names and prices on the girls "berry back to school" clothes. Those are Molly's PJs that the girl is wearing who is brushing Julie's hair. Truly Me is back to being "she's just like you" AND there's an Asian boy there now too. :) That new storage "trunk" looks really cool too. And the drawings with all of the books is so neat. There's a big drawing plus smaller drawings that rotate. There are so many characters there from GOTY to Historical and it's so odd which ones are missing. Even Sonali and Gwen are there. :) Thanks again for letting us know about this website!

The catalog page that says "Berry Back to School" looks like clothes for girls and they look fashionable, but not cheap. I loved hearing about this whole rebrand. It sounds like they spent big bucks to have this done, which is good news for the future of the company. This year definitely feels much more intentional, whereas last year just felt like they were throwing new product at us left and right. I think this is all very positive news. Thanks for sharing!

I'm pretty pleased about this new direction. It feels more thought out for sure, which is a good sign. I like that they are also considering adult fans and collectors in this rebrand but even more so, I like that the brand feels youthful without being overly girly and trying to be like Barbie. I think for once it's staring to feel age appropriate and not like it's marketed to toddlers. The berry color is a good choice, a nice middle ground. Nostalgic but versatile I think and still contemporary. I hope they can bridge the historical girls with the contemporary ones. (I'm kind of hoping for a revamp of CYO too.) Seeing a lot of items that make great gifts for adult collectors as well. I get that sometimes you have to test the waters, but I agree with another commenter in that AG felt like they didn't know what they wanted to do or who they were trying to sell to. Overall, it seems pretty promising!
It looks to me like they are finding their way and I am very optimistic about the rebrand. I agree, the berry color is very nice and feels upscale and expensive. I am looking forward to seeing all the new products!
@@rainbowunicorncat1 Yeah. But I will say, my one complaint is that they need to do better with their in-house clothing. They used to make such cute age appropriate outfits for the dolls and now it feels like I only buy clothes when there's a decent collab. Unfortunately the collabs always end up feeling more formal so I'm left with no real casual options that I like for my dolls. I really loved the return to the 90's style Girl of Today tshirts they offered for the dolls so I'm hoping for more stuff along those lines and for them to kind of chill with the overly pink, girly and glittery styles. I didn't see much of that in the rebrand but I can only hope to see some new things that move away from the Barbie vibes.

We kinda know she is coming, so I am happy with that + she was featured quite a bit on the Pentagram website. But no update on the release date. Could be tomorrow, could be in June.
