Trivia note: The U.S. game show The Amazing Race has been on for 35 Seasons, & yet they have been to Puerto Rico for only 1 of them; Season 7 (which aired back in 2005).
That is part of Puerto Rico the San Juan and Ponce metropolitan area. It's like Miami or any other place like that which is hip swinging and expensive. The real Puerto Rico is when you get away from those areas and travel through the mountains through the small towns and meet the friendly people and try their local cuisine

Sometimes we translate things through the literal latin equivalent when we speak in english. Maestro = Master but usually used to mean teacher or high grade professional. Master, as in owner = "amo" in spanish.
