The little detail of the ash being knocked from the tall grass you step on was a neat thing in the OG games.
That and the fact that if you get the ash sack from the glassblower in the same route, you can collect ash from doing the satisfying thing that is clearing all the ash on the tall grass.
Oh my god, I never pictured strings with this theme, I think I'm in love.
Fun fact: the original sample (the uncompressed version) of the main instrument in this track is a nylon guitar

Route 113 has had one of the most curious themes of any route. It's mysterious and energetic at the same time. Love it, and a great arrangement from you Zame.

I really liked the Gen3 version of this and was sort of disappointed with the ORAS Version because of the arrangement, but this one I quite like, it´s alive and yet has that relaxed vibe from back then

I think what makes this music so memorable is genuinely something that can't be described in words. It's majestic, it's somber, it's magical and it's lonely, the only way i can describe it is like a ball dance in the snow, where you're completely alone... yet somehow the happiest you could ever be, that describes its feeling well but there's no words to describe its *tone.* Every word you could use could be used to describe a lot of other music through the Pokemon series, even all at once, and yet none of them could ever capture the feeling this song has. It's so... out of place, yet somehow exactly where it should be. It's all those things, but none of those things even combined could ever be *this.*

Hands down the best route theme in all of the pokemon games.
Too bad the route was so short though, at least we could grind for those handy flutes and a catch us a nice Skarmory while at it.
The Hoenn region will always be my favorite.

I would like to hear a version with the synth toned down, it makes the song sound a little too cheery when I remember feeling slightly depressed and in awe from the somber tone coupled with the loads of ash onscreen.

My Pokémon got infected with Pokerus while I was searching some Spindas... Thought for a lot of years that it had something to do with the route itself hehe

Thank you thank you thank you! This was always one of my favorite themes from Gen 3, and I was so disappointed that the instrumentation they went with in ORAS didn't do it justice in the slightest.
