Mighty is an understatement!!!!Wow, I ive seen them several times when I was younger, but this video reminds me what the Power of God and Music by annointed Artist can do! The 2 guys @ 4:02-4:17 are feeling it LOL
They are Mighty,I love this group.A great spiritual performance. The late Joe Logon and The Mighty Clouds an awesome performance, each time I saw them They gaved there best.
ONE of my Grandmother's Favorite Gospel Groups!!! Thank You for posting this!! Brings back WONDERFUL Childhood MEMORIES of My Grandma watching Her Gospel VHS recordings or listening to her Gospel music every Sunday, while preparing our Meals from breakfast through dinner Getting Happy Praising God! TY! 😊😊😘😘🎹🎹🎹🎤🎤🎤
the sheer energy of the anointing of God's favor and love blasting out on human beings. not white not black. not a color or gender but a soul wanting to be saved and dedicated in the name and will of the Lord.
I am glad to see The Mighty Clouds were true to their roots and spirituality whether playing a church in South Carolina or the huge Montreaux Jazz Festival. The people there may have caught the Holy Ghost and wondered just what hit them!!
R.I.P. johnny, Elmo, Hamp, Spanky The Greatest Gospel Quartet EVER!!!!!!!!!!!MCJ we love you Joe, Richard, Paul, Johnnie, and Dwight. also RIP Mike Cook
I made a step a few months ago to look to the hills from which cometh my help not to say nothing was wrong and God fixed my issues one two weeks ago no more worrying about bills not judge us cause you don't know all of the details thanks God never late nor early always on time
LOL!!! Yea, if they didn't have rythmn then, they sure had it at the end...hehe THE MIGHTY CLOUDS OF JOY were The O'Jays of gospel. I'm glad my mother raised me on gospel music. CLASSIC!!!
@termante ... I use to be apart of Upper Room COGIC and I tell you even though I am not there anymore, I still love to hear Pastor Wooden sing.. When I first heard him sing, I thought for sure it was Joe Ligon... I have always loved Joe and enjoyed seeing the Clouds over the years... Great group to see in person... Michael Cook is truly missed....
I give the Clouds their props although they are not my favorite. I have booked a lot of singers. The Clouds are extremely professional. Richard, the former bass player and manager, is about business and they are very down to earth. Most groups only do 30 to 45 minutes sets. The Clouds do 90 minutes of hard driving sets. Joe works!!! Some other groups refused to come behind them.
them ppl probably didn't have no idea of what had stepped up in that place, they was feelin like they had never felt before and didn't even know the Holy Ghost was in the place, lolol
Rest in peace Richard Wallace greatest bass player in the world we love u cuzz .
