gods, the moment i started listening to this, i realised it's that little voice in your head that screams at you, when you have depression or anxiety. it's heart-wrenching to know that nate battles these kinds of things, lyrics like these can only be brought forth if you KNOW what it's like... i've seen arguments about a bad breakup, but even the video seems... self-hating. he doesn't look angry or prideful in this video. he looks hurt. if it's about a bad breakup, and he was singing to his ex, he'd look angry or prideful all i know is, it really shows the human aspect of nate, struggling with real life things. such a great song ♥♥♥
Dang, I just realized that I broke my ankle while listening to this song. I was getting off the bus, with this playing in my headphones, when I fell. My headphones flew off my head, and 3 hours later, I learned I broke my ankle, and I have to have surgery in like 3 days. I don't care if this song gave me bad luck, I love it way too much.
