Ive got issue wirh every electronics parts including the charger. Maybe ive just got a lemon... Anyway im in love with this hobby and untill further new from traxxass i still love my sct.

Thanks for the video. I also only use Traxxas batteries and just purchased the 7600 4S for my new Maxx. Its monster next to 5000mah 4S. I use the Traxxas live charger and have the app to keep an eye on voltage. I also never had one fail. Thanks.
Andres Villagomez - depends on when I plan to use the battery next. If I know I’ll be out in the next few days I balance charge the battery up. If I am going to busy and not using the batteries for a week or so, I’ll storage charge them. Thanks for watching!
Axiomatic RC but don’t they say it’s bad to leave a fully charged lipo even if it’s just overnight? I ALWAYS storage charge my lipo batteries and charge them up to 4.2v when ready to use. I have the ez peak live charger from traxxas so can I just balance charge the battery and stop it from charging once it reaches 3.8 v? I don’t want to fully charge the lipo even if I plan to use it the next day. I heard it’s bad for the lipo over time
Andres Villagomez - I’ve heard different theories about what is best to do. I posted this video a year or so ago and haven’t had any issues with my batteries. I would do what you feel most comfortable with.
The gentleman at my local hobby shop said I always have to keep my batteries on the charger at store mode not sure, but I’m not gonna constantly have a battery with the charger on store 6:49 mode until the next time I bring out my XMAXX. Tell me this is not a true statement.

This was my question as well. Which battery is the best for the e revo. That is a decent price. Cause Holy damn he'll, them Lipo batteries ain't anywhere near cheap or price friendly. N then the damn charger for the battery is as much as a freaking Bentley......i will look into these batteries as well...Thank you for asking this question, and thank you for your answering their question!
what is the difference between 7.4 v and 8.4 battery’s my standard 3000 mah 8.4 v battery died and i am considering to buy a lipo but the 2 cell 5800 mah lipo is 7.4 volt. is that a problem and what are the differences?
The 8.4v nimh batteries are ok but they don’t give as much punch and will fade in power as you run the car. The 7.4v Lipos give you more punch and consistent power throughout the run.

Venom makes great batteries as well. You may have issues fitting the venom into the standard Traxxas tray and may need the taller conversion kit. 5800 Traxxas 2 cell should give you plenty of run time. 3s may be overkill

Its simple really, traxxas batteries under perform for the cost. But they work, they are good batteries. All i used to run was traxxas batteries then i got smart and started learning about them. At the price that 25c is bullshit.

Jeffrey Bentz - the C refers to rate of discharge. You’ll see usually anywhere from 25c to 100c. The battery you use depends on application. I found 25c - 35c to ample. Too much discharge can cause heat problems and fry your esc. To little can cause the battery to puff.

Not trying to debate. But I personally think the EZ pack is very overpriced. I also think there should be a less expensive charger option for 11 volt Lipo batteries.
rc trailcats - I never had any issues with Traxxas LiPos. I’ve seen folks get pretty worked up on the battery debate. I’ve heard good things about Onyx batteries; however, I’ve never tried em. Thanks for watching!
My traxxas id lipos puffed within a month or two. Maybe the storage was incorrect. The weather that weekend was extreme like 45-47 Celsius in theshade so that probably killed them. Do those storage bags regulate room temperature to keep batteries at consultant store temp? Ez peak I’d charger is fun with the Bluetooth app

The dual charger... The right port is the main with the left being the secondary. Just fyi in case you didn't know. There is nothing wrong with it 😁

Not much you could do with the stock charger. You need a LIPO capable charger for a true upgrade. I'd say 5800 2S LiPO with the proper charger

Hate lipo I owned 3 and now the 3rd is shot, wont charge anymore, tried jumping it with a slow charger but no use.
LiPOs can be very tricky and finicky but you can't beat the power you get from a LiPO. Even with proper care and storage, they can still puff.
I use Onyx mostly work good, pillow like a bitch. My Pulse batteries, flat as the day I bought them.
