This isn't my favorite book. The writing style is classic. Lotsa thy and thou. A newbie may not understand the English. There are definitely more points. I have covered only the essence .
Vasanth, Compounding in stocks is different from the regular compounding. Regular compounding: You start with 100$ . 10% interest. End of year 110$. 110$ is reinvested next year. So on and so forth. Compounding in stock market: The value of a company compounds. It means the company's value grows. If a company is worth 100$ and has 10 shares. Let's assume you own 10% of the company ie you own a share. You have 10$ worth of share. Next year the company's worth becomes 1000$. Your share now is 100$(10% of 1000). The subsequent year it's valued at 10,000$. Now you own a share valued at 1000$. Compounding in the stock world means your share grows with the company's profits. Take Microsoft, The value of a share was around 50$ in 2000. It's worth 235$ now. Almost 5 times. This is compounding (Microsoft grew, profits exploded and its share price went up too). Fair enough? So purchase stocks with long term potential and allow it to grow. Don't touch it. You will reap benefits.

Practice. Start with 20 pages a day. Consistently read an English book for a year. You will notice a change. Remember CONSISTENCY 👍
