Italy - Dolomites - Marmolada - Punta Penia via Ferrata | B/C | 09.09.2021

This is not safety instructional video, author uses safety gear according to his subjective on sight assessment which may not appropriate.
As you can see i have encountered certain issues on my way:
#1 aka "why not this way.." We mistakenly assumed that path around first snow field would be safer.
2# aka "well.." I have underestimated little glacier that was on our way, snow and ice wasn't the problem because i was prepared for it.
The problem was loose rocks/gravel that lied on the ice causing the ice to be not visible, what seems to be at first a stable ground caused me to fall several times.
It wasn't a big mistake because the terrain wasn't steep, however the path the we took ascending should be better to descend as well.
Till that trip i haven't had experience in walking on such mixed surface however i think that walking on ~clear ice & crampons would be much more effective than my way down..

Fajne! Orientujesz się, w jakich miesiącach ta ferrata jest do przejścia? (Wiem tylko, że jeszcze w maju droga dojazdowa do Cortiny bywa zablokowana przez śnieg.)

trudno powiedzieć, nie robiłem rozeznania, byłem akurat w dość dogodnej porze roku, byłem wcześniej w Alpach na przełomie maj/czerwiec i w tym czasie na dole już ciepło ale od 2200 śnieg jest raczej pewny
