- Steve Matthes sits down at the Honda Racing Museum with former Honda mechanic and team manager Dave Arnold to take a look at and talk about the glory years of Honda HRC factory motocrossers.
Just fantastic! More please! More works bikes, more discussion with people like Dave Arnold!
My gosh I absolutely loved this
I like interviews like this because you always hear things you did not hear back when this took place.
Triumph may be the greatest dirtbike we have seen in years. Triumph will be Dave Arnolds historic life of data all poured into one machine. I watched this vid again, so much to learn from Dave Arnold. Someone who truly understands how one aspect/part of the bike can affect the feel and handling overall.
All these years later, many of the stories I always wanted to hear. Thx for sharing!
These are absolute GOLD
Great stuff..takes me back to being a kid sitting on my 1984 CR60 in the garage waiting for the snow to melt.
Im 59 and grew up by redbud watching all the pros like Hannah, Barnett, bailey, magoo ,chuck sun etc..racing their works bikes ! It was so awesome to see what crazy new tech the teams could come up with every new year . The sport is not the same since they made them quit racing works bikes !
In the mid-late 80's, Honda dealers would have those small brochures containing all the dirt bike models. You could unfold the brochures out into a poster and I always had those on my wall above my bed ha ha.
Is David that modest or is he under Honda's thumb? Incredible knowledge and personality.
