LYRICS One thing I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme To explain in due time All I know Time is a valuable thing Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day The clock ticks life away It's so unreal Didn't look out below Watch the time go right out the window Tryin' to hold on, did-didn't even know I wasted it all just to watch you go I kept everything inside and even though I tried It all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually Be a memory of a time when I tried so hard I tried so hard and got so far But in the end it doesn't even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn't even matter One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme To remind myself how I tried so hard In spite of the way you were mockin' me Acting like I was part of your property Remembering all the times you fought with me I'm surprised it got so far Things aren't the way they were before You wouldn't even recognize me anymore Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me in the end You kept everything inside and even though I tried It all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually Be a memory of a time when I tried so hard I tried so hard and got so far But in the end it doesn't even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn't even matter I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There's only one thing you should know I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There's only one thing you should know I tried so hard and got so far But in the end it doesn't even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn't even matter
Very awesome track! Lots of the early 80s (also a bit late 70s style) reminds me of infomercials and instructional vids from that time period, when I was a little little kiddo. Also the layers of the melody sounding almost "getting off quality" (VHS and cassette tape player issues) are executed so well. Great! Great! Great!
I'd try not to articulate the synths as much on the vocals as it really muddies an other wise phenomenal composition. When you slow down that synth work, it hits so much harder. Euthymically melancholic, really really cool man.

Damn so this is what Kleiner was jamming to in his college years
feels like 2007 right here
Don’t you mean 1987?
I got old VHS vibes and arcade room music, you're a legend
Bro this is freaking good not gonna lie.
LYRICS
One thing I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
Didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Tryin' to hold on, did-didn't even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside and even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn't even matter
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mockin' me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so far
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You kept everything inside and even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn't even matter
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There's only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There's only one thing you should know
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn't even matter
Awesome remix
Chester would have loved this

Sounds like Tron movie backsound
Nice music 👍
this is pretty fuckin lit
Bro you're so underrated you deserve more subs
It could blend with the soundtrack of Golden Axe (lvl 1)... or so it feels. I like it either way! :-)
It's a great remix, but just isn't the same without Chester Bennington. (R.I.P. Chester)
Here's the version with Chester Bennington th-cam.com/video/-EWVhro9Nx0/w-d-xo.html

Brother, imagine vocals!
Might I suggest adding xylophones isolated drum beats with more pitch and flutes
I wonder how it would sound with lyrics🤔
This song was so good in 1980-81 😩👌. Even though I wasn't born yet(1985)
Does anyone know how to turn off karaoke mode??
Foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Look who crawled out of his hole!
I'm like Deadpool. Lost my arms and had to wait for them to grow back
@@georgegolde It was worth it
I was born in the 2000's but this music is too good not to listen to. 👍
Hola#######
This sounds like a knockoff of Fury Weekend's retrowave remix of the same song, almost like it's built off the same MIDI file.
It's obviously not (:
OMG
